We enjoyed Bayfield and the Artesian House and we will try to visit again. We went for the apple festival, Christine and Dennis were very accommodating and informative. If you are in it for a quiet, relaxed place to stay then is it!! Fall colors were also excellent.

We stayed in late August and it was our first visit to the area. As others have said, this was a lovely experience. Located just outside Bayfield, the Artesian House's rooms are spacious, quiet and clean! The food was so delicious and fresh. The house is very interesting and the hosts, Dennis and Christine, are too. They know the area...

Our stay at the Artesian House was an excellent experience. Christine and Dennis were very helpful regarding dining and entertainment ideas. Morning breakfast and conversation was so relaxing and fun. We would recommend this B & B to our friends and family.

Our hostess was very cordial and an excellent cook. Her kitchen is to die for. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and have plenty of light with nice windows. The living room is very comfy. They have a beautiful baby grand if you can play. There was a patio that was accessible to all rooms.. You can tell they've thought...

We recently stayed here. The place is close to Bayfield yet out away from all of the crowds - ok, I know it is Bayfield and crowds is relative - but this is a serene location. It would be great if it had water views, but............. We stayed in the Aspen room which was large and great views of the...

The Artesian House was great. Christine and Dennis were so accommodating. Whatever we needed they were willing to get. They asked when everyone wanted breakfast and it was ready when we wanted it. Both mornings it was excellent. They had delicious fresh fruit out while Christine was preparing the 'main dish'. There is a wrap around deck that is full...

Christine and Dennis run an excellent B & B just two miles south of Bayfield and just north of Big Top Chautauqua off of Route 13. This is an excellent home base for any adventures in Bayfield, Cornucopia, Washburn, and the Route J berry and fruit farms. We stayed in the Aspen room which overlooks the woods and parking area...

Really enjoyed the food in Bayfield and this B&B was no exception. All local and organic fruit, granola, eggs, and sausage. Lots of food for breakfast and decent coffee. The hostess was also an excellent cook! Very nice rooms. Short drive to town. They are planning on getting a new vendor for coffee, which is the local roaster. We stopped...

We had a relaxing four days in the Ironwood room. Christine delivered a beautiful fruit variety every morning, along with the hot breakfast. Madeline Island was worth the trip on the ferry with our car, stopped into the local park and canoed in a lagoon that was pristine beauty, no bugs.
