We stayed at the Silvernail.  (Be aware there are several locations off site where you might get a room.)  This was about 3 blocks from the main hotel, and was a house converted to upstairs guest rooms (no elevator.)  The room itself was clean and inviting.  However the mini fridge was noisy and the A/C unit was missing a control...

My wife and I stayed in the Silvernail house of the Bayfield Inn over Valentines weekend. Although the room was very clean and up-to-date on the furnishings, it was very loud. This house is situated right on the main drag Rittenhouse and the noise from traffic driving by was extreme. Also, there must not be enough insulation in the walls...

We stayed at the Silvernail, part of the Bayfield Inn property rentals. Great room - we are out and about a lot in Bayfield, so the room was perfect for us. Loved the tub. The management was great, handed us tickets to the Big Top performance when we checked in (wonderful time by the way). A little disappointed in the...

The Guest House is 2-3 blocks from the main Bayfield Inn. The guests rooms are upstairs, with no elevator which was fine for me, but could pose a problem for some travelers. The room was clean and well-equipped. The bathroom was large and the whirlpool tub was a nice addition. Furnishings feel new. The window a/c unit was a bit...

This remolded old guest house is a ripoff at $160 per night! Although the check in at the Bayfield Inn was friendly enough, the amenities at our small bedroom and bath #1 unitstairs climbing unit was vastly lacking. No phone, microwave, ice availability. Shower extremely small, Window air conditioner noisy, ceiling fan falling out of ceiling, and we found two...

This is a two story house converted in to 4/5 rooms. Four rooms are on the second floor, so you have quite a few steps going up and down. There is an entrance but no lobby. (This property is managed by the Bayfield Inn three blocks down at the shore.) We were in room #4 which did not have a...

I counted on Bayfiled's website description of its various properties to be accurate. Traveling with my 84 year old mother who had various health problems, made it imperative that we have certain ammenities. I needed a first floor (ground level) room with a shower, refridgerator, coffeee maker for starts. All this and more was promised at Bayfield's online site when...
