From the moment we entered the property, we knew that the weekend of our son's wedding was going to be magical. Words fail to describe the beauty, serenity, enchantment and lovely attention to every detail that is found at Nolichucky Bluffs. Pam, the owner, truly felt like a member of the family and was always available for questions, information or anything we might need. Plus she is such a genuine delight to be with.
My husband and I stayed in the Cedar cabin which was just top notch and we were furnished with everything we needed down to pen and paper for notes and a wonderfully scented candle. Towels were luxurious, beds comfortable and I loved having my morning coffee on the back porch surrounded by the woods and the sounds of little animals scurrying and acorns falling amid the fall leaves. We were also treated to homemade treats such as muffins, egg bites, yogurt, juices, and homemade granola which was all from the kitchen on site and truly delicious. Since we had several family members with specific dietary needs, Pam went out of her way to ensure that there was something for everyone to eat.
I often saw Pam going around and checking on each part of the venue for the weekend. She met the caterer who delivered our meal for the Friday night Picnic under the pavilion and made sure all was in order. The night was so much fun with the casualness of the Pavilion where children roamed and played and we could all gather. We ended the night with a small fire and roasting marshmallows for S'mores.
I was so grateful to Pam for sending me pictures and dimensions that I needed to purchase items for the Pavilion picnic. She truly went out of her way to make certain that all aspects of the planning were addressed.
I may not sure that there are enough superlatives to describe the wedding chapel overlooking the Nolichucky River. Being glassed in, the ceremony felt like it was one with nature and just more or less suspended at the top of the bluff I loved the winding walkway to the chapel The bride was a vision as she walked beneath the trees on the walkway. Pam gave the couple free reign to construct just the type of plans and ceremony that was personal for them.
We enjoyed a delightful wedding lunch on the porch of the cabin at the bluff and it was perfect sitting outside in nature to celebrate the couple.
Later in the evening, we reconvened again for a fun wedding night of yard games and had snacks back under the pavilion. It was so easy to move around the property for the different events.
Our departure on Sunday morning was highlighted by one last meal together, breakfast, that was homemade and served in the Store at the front of the property. It was very hard to leave this little piece of heaven and whenever I hear the name of Nolichucky Bluffs, it will always bring forth memories of magic. Thank you Pam- you are just the best! Beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding, chapel was gorgeous, pastor was caring, Pam was ever helpful and gracious, Katrina was a wonderful photographer, and Megan provided fantastic floral arrangements. Cabins were cozy, spacious, comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was home-cooked, tasty and nutritious, with an excellent variety for all. We could not have chosen a better location for our daughter's wedding - thank you for helping create our forever family memories!

The Cedar cabin is well-appointed and comfortable. The breakfast foods provided by the hosts were appreciated and delicious. The location is close to Greeneville, Jonesborough and Johnson City, making it convenient to restaurants and shops. We look forward to returning again.

My husband and I were planning to stay two nights in the Grist Mill Cabin on this property. Pam, the owner, had warned me over the phone that the modern toilet room was located outside of the main cabin, but I either did not hear her say or did not realize from the pictures that it was not only outside, but in order to reach it from our bedroom we would have to go down some steep stairs, go out the front door, and then climb another small set of stairs to the small "outhouse." Given that the evening we arrived, there was a torrential thunderstorm that caused a tree to fall on a power line - knocking out our electricity for about two hours - this would have been a precarious journey given our place in the woods and pitch dark. The cabin itself is very small, with a tiny little sitting area on the ground floor and a sink to wash dishes and hands. Because of Covid, the breakfast area was closed, so Pam had put some muffins and juice in the mini fridge to function for that meal. Our bedroom upstairs had a Queen bed and a large old-fashioned tub for bathing. It was very rustic, to be sure; the wood was unfinished and the amenities were simple and sparse, albeit clean. It was extremely hot, and because the air conditioner was upstairs, and there were not windows on the bottom floor, having to stay inside due to the wet weather made it pretty uncomfortable all around. We hardly slept all night and cut our visit short; leaving early the next morning. Pam was a gracious hostess and I know she felt badly about our experience. Reading all of the rave reviews from previous visitors to this cabin, I have to think that the weather and our own biases (and probably poor choice of lodging in this particular instance) prevented us from having the best experience that we might have otherwise had.

My wife and I loved staying in the Redbud Cabin right on the Nolichucky river. We were there during the polar vortex visit to the deep south but were warm and toasty the entire time. The cabin is nicely furnished, super clean and was well stocked with breakfast treats (egg casserole, muffins, cinnamon buns, juice, etc.) which were all delicious. Pam, our host, gave us an extra special treat, one afternoon, of homemade blackberry cobbler which was AMAZING!!! If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting at a reasonable price, this is it!

What a diamond in the rough!!!! We LOVED it here! We stayed in the Redbud with our little one and had an enchanting autumn stay. The cabin was so cozy and sitting out on the porch overlooking the River was just magic. Also…that tub for a midnight soak was HEAVEN!! The hosts were so sweet and so spectacular and breakfast in Grandma’s cupboard was delicious! I cannot wait to return and explore more of the area as we were on a time crunch to get in and out for a wedding. But we will be back!! Guaranteed!

We were looking to escape the constant ticker tape of negative news and COVID coverage and Nolichuckey Bluffs did not disappoint!
We rented the Grist Mill and loved the location overlooking the river! The bedroom is upstairs in a loft and you truly feel as if you are sleeping in the treetops. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, sitting out on the porch in the rocking chairs and just bonding as a couple. The mill turned on twice a day and was such a unique touch.
NOTE: Grammas Cupboard was not open due to COVID but Pam left us delicious muffins, yogurt and orange juice. Also, an Ingles is less than 10 minutes away so you can stock up on grocery needs for your stay.
Our cabin was the most primitive (I'm assuming) and there is no shower or couch although the clawfoot tub was amazing and there is a sitting area with (4) barrel chairs (comfy), Just throwing that out there so you do realize that you will be glamping.
We enjoyed touring the property and discovered a darling wedding chapel onsite. We also went into town for a few meals and hiked nearby Margarette Falls. For us, it was a magical time in a magical place and we would definitely recommend it if you need to unplug for a few days. Pam is a gracious and fun host who will go out of her way to ensure you have a great time!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding. We rented all of the cabins and the chapel which were the perfect size for our 12 person wedding party (including us). The cabins each have their own personality and rustic charm, with beautiful porches that overlook the river or forest. The property itself is tranquil and has a real natural beauty, when you look over the river you don't see any other buildings or homes in sight. The leaves were just starting to turn when we were there in mid-October and the weather was nice and cool on our wedding day. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous and Pam helped us set up the alter with ferns and logs to match the boho style we were going for. We had our reception dinner on the porch of the Log Cabin which was the perfect size and we loved being outdoors for it. Then in the evening we had a bonfire in the yard. But Pam (owner and manager) is the real gem of this property. She went above and beyond countless times for us, from sending photos of vases, chairs and tableware before the wedding, to getting us a fire permit, to going into her own home to find an end table that would match our decor in the chapel. She's the perfect combination of joyful and lighthearted while still having extreme attention to detail, remembering the smallest things we discussed and making them happen for us. As an event planner myself, I can say that Pam is a rare find and our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near as seamless without her help. And last but not least, there is Debra, pancake and breakfast extraordinaire. She honestly makes the best pancakes we've ever had and our group really enjoyed getting together each morning over breakfast. We can't recommend Nolichuckey Bluffs enough!

We celebrated the wedding of my nephew the weekend of 8/27-8/29/2021. Several of our family members rented the Nolichuckey Bluff cabins, so that we could be close to one another and hang out. The cabins were the perfect place to stay and gather. The property manager that ran the place was so very nice. The only reason i rated this a 4 is because the cabin we stayed in had two wasp nests in the upstairs bedroom and when we first arrived a few wasps were in the room; however, my husband blocked off the window seal where the wasps were and they didn't get in. I would recommend these cabins.Beautiful scenery and mountain views.

Thanks Tina- and I do understand the wasp concern. We had been waiting for a day that was not rainy to climb on the roof and get these nests. Being situated in the woods one can't always combat nature. Thanks for staying with us.

Very clean, cute, cozy and quaint. Attention to detail is obvious here. This is our forth time staying here and we love it!! We can always count on having a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy. Plus having several 'cabins' to choose from makes for great family reunions. They are very kind and respectful and are very much on top of their game in providing excellent service and accommodations.

We stayed in a one bedroom so I can't speak to the two bedroom question. Our cabin DID have a standard coffee pot, not a Keurig. But we have a smaller single cup Keurig that we take with us. It's a good investment for travel.
We are happy to have your kitty - it just can not be left unattended in the cabin without being crated and there is a pet fee.
With the tremendous surge in Covid, we are not serving any meals but you do have a full kitchen in every cabin. Pam
