Cold room even with heater on. Bathroom freezing. No extra blanket or pillow. Shampoo/conditioner in throw-away packaging. Very thin towels - one even had a 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" rectangle chewed out of the corner, but apparently that was still "good enough for guests!" No breakfast, and only 1 cup for the coffee maker. Definitely not a 3-star hotel, but good for guests who need a cheap place.
no microwave. small shower area. no breakfast. it is good comparable to two star hotel. everything else was fine. location was good. parking fee is $25 per night. customer service was good from what they had to provide.
Sheets didn't smell of fragrance, which was great! Good location. No breakfast in spite of it being listed as an amenity in room. More towels would have been nice and there was no where for a hand towel by the sink.
There was a little mold and rust in the bathroom but other than that the motels day was pretty great. The volume on the TV did not go over 25, if you had the heater on you could not hear the TV and there was no way to get into the menu and set it. They had it locked. I'm not looking to blast my TV so anyone else can hear it but it would be nice to lay with the heat on in the winter time and still be able to watch a show.
The website advertised a continental breakfast, when in all reality it was only a bag of snacks IF they even had it that day. Location was fine. Staff was on the ruder side... Overall, it was fine. However, I don’t see myself staying there again.
Rooms had rats in the walls, breakfast menu packed any variety. Had a choice of toast or cereal. Staff at check-in were extremely rude. Location in Lombard street was great and close to the warf if you wished to walk.
Very good value, close proximity to several major spots, clean rooms/property, complimentary breakfast, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend as well as stay here on my next trip back to San Francisco.
Friendly service. Breakfast area is small, but you can go outside too. They do the best they can with the space they have. Small rooms. It is really cool you can walk to the crooked street from the hotel.
Stayed on the first floor - heard every word of both right/left/upstairs neighbors. There is no insulation in any of the walls. Good luck sleeping here. Bathrooms need a major uplift as well. Only thing going for this place is the location. It needs a major uplift. Sorry Travelodge - but I wouldn't recommend you to anyone.
The door to my room did not close on its own. I either had to yank it closed leaving, or put a shoulder into it when done for the night. The breakfast array was beyond pathetic. Toast, oatmeal, cereal, and hard boiled eggs. The coffee was mediocre. The best part of breakfast, other than leaving, was the orange juice.
