I love this hotel, it's close to Union Square and all the shops and yet it's private and small enough that you feel like family when you're staying. From the reception desk to the cleaners, everyone is so welcoming, it feels like home away from home and safe too. I was on the 6th floor this time and although there...

We found the inn at union square to be very accommodating and lovely. After a long day of travel we were early for our check in but warmly welcomed and invited to sit in their second floor lounge while our room was being readied. The room was contemporary and super clean. The bedding was luxurious and we slept soundly. The...

Spent 3 nights at the Inn at Union Square while in town for a convention. Room 507 was spacious, quiet (on back of building) and tastefully and newly remodeled. Bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Gorgeous floral arrangements in the breakfast room, sitting areas on each floor and entry were a nice touch. Staff was all very nice. Breakfast and...

Our stay didn't start off the best. We arrived around 11:00 to check in just off a long haul flight from Sydney. We were informed that our room wasn't ready yet. That was fair enough as we didn't really expect it to be. Fortunately we were able to store our bags there while we went out for a few hours....

This is a small, quiet hotel in a great part of the city. What sets this hotel apart is a combination of two things: newly remodeled rooms paired with a staff that seems to have been trained to never say no. Christian, one of the managers, goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Many of the other TripAdvisor reviews will...

We stayed here for an extended weekend that unfortunately involved some remote work. My husband had several meetings he needed to attend on Friday before we could check in and on Monday after we needed to check out. The hotel staff was very accommodating. While we could not get into our room early, they allowed my husband to set up...

This is my fourth visit to SF and first time at the Inn At Union Square! The hotel has a great location and rooms are clean and gorgeous! But mostly, I was amazed by its staff, specially by Estela and her crew! They excelled at their service and made my stay at San Francisco really enjoyable, much better than expected....

We were hoping for a great little European/boutique style hotel given strength of rating and reviews on TripAdvisor. Reality was ok but a little tired. We wouldn't go back. Pros - great location, free afternoon reception and continental breakfast buffet Minuses - tiny room, nonexistent lobby, nondescript sitting rooms and breakfast area. Quality of buffet was pretty basic.

Dear Jonadale, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your thoughts about our hotel. I am glad that you thought highly of our location and the amenities that we offer. I am sorry, though, that you felt otherwise about the rest of the hotel, although I would be highly interested in speaking with you further, as we just...

Narrow-fronted city building, doesn't look like an hotel at all. Well located to see the city. Deep plan and narrow side corridor with rooms off to one side. Had room on back, which was spacious and very well decorated and appointed. Continental self-service breakfast only, basic but adequate. Wine and canapes in the early evening soi you can meet some...

First the location: Excellent! Half-block off Union Square and the Powell Street Cable Car. Convenient to Market Street - streetcars, buses and BART. The room was a bit small, but it's San Francisco & so much to do. Breakfast featured a selection of cold cereals, sweet rolls, fruit, yoghurts, tea and coffee. The 5:30pm wine & cheese and evening cookie...
