Tourists are drawn to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, The Cannery, North Beach and the cable cars. The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf is centrally located near those tourist meccas. My room was modern with understated, tasteful decoration. The bathroom was a little small, but the room was of generous size and had a work desk (which I used) and a lounge chair....

We spent 3 nights in a double room. The hotel is perfectly located near the wharf. Rooms are OK clean and big. Concierge was very helpful in helping us organizing our visit of SF with the kids. Near the hotel (on the wharf) you have a fantastic bakery named ”Boudin” where you can enjoyed fantastic breakfast (also a recommendation) from...

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon last October. The hotel is in a great spot, close to public transport, (passes from either cable car turnaround, or I recommend from Wallgreens to avoid the queues). You can walk straight up through North Beach, through Chinatown to Union Square taking in the sights along the way. The Receptionist gave...

Dear Nicola_H, thanks so much for the 4-star review. I do agree ... our Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds are the most comfortable in the industry and I was pleased you enjoyed the comfort and the service provided by our helpful desk staff and Concierge. Thanks for the visit and please plan on returning soon. Take care and warm regards,

Such a lot of money for such a poor experience. The Sheraton's policy appears to be cashing in on their location and then fleecing their clients for every additional penny possible. We would have thought wifi would be available in rooms? No such luck. The food...only available at certain times of day and distinctly ordinary. The pool...lacking enough loungers for...

Dear Andrew_C, thanks for the review of your recent stay with us and my apologies we missed the mark from your expectations. The hotel is busy and has much of the corporate Sheraton feel. The location was very good - two blocks away from the chaos and bustle of Fisherman's Wharf but quiet apart from the odd passing tram - being a couple of blocks back a positive advantage. Also close to the cable car and in walking distance of the Alcatraz...

Just came home after taking a few days of sailing school up in San Francisco. With the early mornings, we got a room at the Sheraton which was one block from Pier 39 where are classes were. Based on the room, price, and small size of the bathroom (also quite a touristy neighborhood.... but maybe that's what you're looking for!)...

We arrived in the evening...not busy. The Bellman abandoned our cart and we had to haul it ourselves. My room was supposed to be a King...it was 2 doubles, my husband and I had to sleep separate. The halls are dingy...scratched paint and windows pulled out. The clincher...room service! Awoke, ordered a $40 (plus) breakfast. Asked for extra crispy potatoes...

Contrary to other reviews, the service (front desk in particular) was actually very good. The location was also excellent if you want to be near Pier 39/Fisherman's Wharf but just like many other places in San Francisco, this place gets sketchy, especially at night. There are many homeless people in the area and tons of hoodlums. I also didn't feel...
