The staff at the Opal were very professional, courteous and also managed to be exceptionally approachable and friendly all in one fell swoop. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with Angela, Carlo, Brad, and all the others whose names are not mentioned.

We paid $40.00 per day to park our rental car there. The only reason we even rented a car, is because we had plans to drive to Sonoma and Napa for a few days. If you are just staying within the city, I would NOT recommend you renting a car. Traffic is terrible within the city, parking places are non-existent, and you can get ANYWHERE in the city by public transportation..cable cars, trolleys and buses.
