The hotel is in the process of being remodeled and has so much possibility. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming and the room was comfortable for all of us. Located conveniently from the cable car and BART systems, it provides easy access to everything you...More
We stayed one night in this old-fashioned beauty and loved it. It is conveniently located within minutes from popular sights (and within a few blocks of the red tour bus drop off). We had our car and had two options for parking: the hotel offers...More

Thank you for taking the time to write about and rate your stay with us. Independent hotels like ours rely heavily on guest comments. They tell people what we are doing right and they let us know what we are doing wrong. I am glad...More
This hotel's style is a little more old fashioned, but the staff is good. The rooms are clean. We did have some noise since they are currently under renovation on some floors, so that was a negative for now until they open their shiny renovated...More

We paid $40.00 per day to park our rental car there. The only reason we even rented a car, is because we had plans to drive to Sonoma and Napa for a few days. If you are just staying within the city, I would NOT recommend you renting a car. Traffic is terrible within the city, parking places are non-existent, and you can get ANYWHERE in the city by public transportation..cable cars, trolleys and buses.
