We were looking for a budget hotel with a great location for my birthday trip. That's just what it is. If your number one priority is to enjoy the city of San Francisco, the accommodation doesn't really matter to you -- and keeping in mind it's a rather expensive then-- the City Center Inn is appropriate. But then again I... More

Toilet seat was so dirty, hair and piss all over the seat. We had to put toilet paper down on the seat before we used the toilet. Black mold in the bathroom window. Carpets in room need replacing. The bed was clean and comfortable, really soft sheets.

Horrible place very dirty we stayed there for a couple days and will NOT recommend it... No elevators, broken door handles, stains everywhere from carpets, couches, chairs. Suite didn't have fridge and we had purchased groceries before heading to the hotel and they couldn't accommodate us with one. Way over priced for what you get. Parking is first come first... More

We first got to the hotel and they give us a room that had some somebody's stuff already in it. Give us another room but it took almost an hour to get them to do it they need to learn a little bit more customer service and they need to change your key policy

This hotel was booked as a last choice because all other hotels at a lowish price had sold out. I say 'lowish' but we still paid £104 a night and stayed for three nights. You'd get a lovely 4* hotel in London for that! We had to pay a deposit for potential damage which I found hilarious because there is... More

Just don't waist your time and money and energy ,because if you have booked this place by just looking at the photos of it or the low price, you have made a big mistake. As soon as you get there you will figure it will be your worst experience!!! We booked this place for three night but we only could stay... More

Visited the hotel for 3 nights. First of all the nighborhood was full of homeless people and didn't feel comfortable with that. The staff was not friendly! We needed to get and deliver 2 fax messages and they charged us for that 10$. I won't recommend this place

Myself and my partner stayed here for two nights. It's probably the worst hotel we've stayed in, and we've been travelling for 3months so that says a lot. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovate. Its not the greatest location, I can't say i felt overly safe. Luckily it was just a base so we only slept and... More

we chose this place because it was the right place with parking for our family budget. WE still talk about all the homeless around this hotel and in san fran and have no desire to ever go back. We did not feel safe and secure especially since cars all over were broken into. Definitely a shady area

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
