This was a great hotel for families with kids, lots of things to keep busy while at the hotel, and very close to the Wharf. The only thing lacking was an affordable snack/breakfast bar, but iHop and 7Eleven around the corner made up for it.

Great location to the water. Remodeled rooms but you can still see and feel it's former motel structure. On the surface it's contemporary and hip, but it's missing the polished details. Our refrigerator didn't work, room lights flickered, insufficient towels, insufficient bath products as we...More

I'd say no...the rooms are nice but small. In fact, only one night stand on the side of the bed and just enough room at the foot to get around to each side

Also used Alcatraz official cruises. Booked on line you get choice of sailings. Ferry across takes about 20 minutes. You can catch any boat back. Not to be missed it's a great trip.

They did charge me some kind of a garbage resort fee, on top of the agreed upon price in small print. There's nothing resorty about this place. Never again.
