Was here for a conference when the city was packed. Stayed here for two nights and was very pleasently surprised. Is an older hotel that has recently been modernized with a trendy cool SF rock n roll vibe. Was greeted warmly and professionally by Gabe upon check-in. Room is small, however they have new amenities (I don't understand why every...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Very central located. Union square is just around the corner, Chinatown 10 minutes walk and Pier I also within walking distance. Clean and nice rooms. Cool Bar with Open Fire Place and restaurant in the Hotel. I would definitely come back. Very good choice for younger people.

Thanks for the awesome review Travel H! I am glad to hear that our location in Union Square worked out perfectly for your trip. Did you visit the game room downstairs? We have a pool table, shuffleboard and skee-ball down there and free for our guests to use. Challenge you to a game next time!

It is close to Union Square, but that is definitely not the best area of SF. Loud neighbors, street noise, unprofessional staff. Maybe too "hipesterish" for a business trip. Arrived to Zeppelin at midnight, no one outside to help with the baggage. At the front desk I found out they didn't have available the room I booked a month ago....

That's for the valuable feedback Adina P. I do sincerely apologize that staff was not present when you arrived to assist with your luggage. I see that you were initially upgraded from the deluxe room type that you booked to a much larger Suite when you first arrived and then upgraded you to one of our penthouse suites when you...

Walk to great restaurants, Chinatown and Union Station. Cool, urban vibe with young staff who were very professional. Air was not working in room and they moved us immediately and followed up to make sure new room was fine. Traveled with teens who spent time in basement lounge/game room. Great hotel for weekend in SF. Plan to return.

The hotel is in a good location. Very close to Union Square. The rooms are clean and because I had a room facing the small inner court I had no problem with the noise. But I also had no light :) For the price you pay you will expect more attention from the staff. At check in they just took...

This hotel is at a very good location near Union Square. The rooms are clean and tidy, comfortable bed, and good bath amenities. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My room was tiny (on the 7’th floor) which was very inconvenient, with a large suitcase and a trolly, I could barely walk in the room. Also, if you’re planning...

Thanks for the review yaniv_72! Next time you come to town, definitely check out one of our other room types. Our Delux and Premier room types both larger in square footage size and have oversize desks so that there is plenty of room for your laptop and other gadgets.

Walking distance to Union Square, trolleys and restaurants. Hotel has been modernized and the rooms are small but clean. We ate at the hotel restaurant based upon friends recommendations and the food was fabulous! They do have a downstairs game room with basketball, darts etc. Bartenders are awesome!!!

Glad to see you liked our close proximity to Union Square. Rambler does provide room service as well, so next time you just want to lounge around in your room, call them up and they'll bring it right to you, complete relaxation. What was your high school in Skiiball downstairs?

Nice modern hotel in the center of SF. I was staying there for a business trip and have to say that for this purpose it is not recommendable. The hotel restaurant/bar is very loud and work/sleep is difficult, the breakfast starts only at 7 and there were no options offered for guests who need to leave earlier. Also the staff...

This hotel is amazing looking, not your traditional hotel. Very casually dressed staff not sure is they are guests or staff. Very hip and quirky hotel. Rooms are very clean and quite spacious. Just visited the hotel bar, but felt compelled to write a good review due to the bartender's (Angelica) great skills and fantastic service. Nice and intimate place with a fireplace. Restaurant also looks good.
