Family of 3 has 3 nights in SFO and Le Meridien was perfect. We arrived on Friday and since this property is located in the financial district was pretty quiet on the weekend {Think Wall Street on weekends in NYC}. Having worked/Lived in SFO before I knew this was optimal. Away from the hustle and tourist traps of other areas. and also walkable to a myriad of eating and sight seeing options {Chinatown, Ferry bldg, etc}. This is not a "new" property but it is very well kept and clean. Bed was very comfortable and outdoor balcony was a nice place to take coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night .Top notch bar 33 and we had a big one bedroom suite with a sofabed which was important. View of TransAmerica Bldg and Bay Bridge was just the icing on the cake. Service was spot on and friendly in a businesslike manner. Highly recommend. Parking is adjacent for $35 but also ample parking {free on Sundays} right in front of hotel on the street . San Franciso never disappoints nor does Le Merdien.

A BIG THANKS TO THE « 5🌟 » STAFF OF THE HOTEL MERIDIEN SAN FRANCISCO 😍: I was confined from December 23 to January 3 , 2022 in their hotel because I suffered from Covid 19 during my stay. Everything was on top! organization, sanitary practices …… Staff very considerate, attentive, and full of benevolence in this establishment. I almost forgot that I was locked up for 11 days and that I spent Christmas and New Year there 🥳 I wish each of them, from the kitchens to the reception, participants in my guard of honor for entry into quarantine (to mark my passage towards the room, for no contact with another person) to the Manager, A VERY GOOD YEAR 2022 and GOOD HEALTH 🎉🎏🎊 AGAIN THANKS! NATHALIE TARDY - AIR FRANCE Flight Crew.

We arrived late in the evening and were upgraded to a bay view suite. The room was one of the largest I’ve every received. There was a couch with a coffee table, a high rise L shaped desk and a king size bed. The room was a bit dark, but open the curtains and the room is full of light. The bathroom was a good size and also includes a soaking tub, however the decor was a bit tired. The gym is in a lower level but is a great size, four to five treadmills and the same number of elliptical. However, be warned it can be busy, one morning I went down there at 5:45AM and there wasn’t a free cardio machine. Just a note that under current CA or SF law you have to go to the front desk first and show a copy of your vaccine card then the front desk will give you a different key for the fitness center. I ate one night at Bar 333, the food was good American food. Service was excellent and very friendly. If you want another option the Royal Exchange is a few blocks away and was excellent. Check out was easy and the staff was friendly and there weren’t any issues with my bill.

We've stayed at this property a few times and none have disappointed. Most recently my wife and I were on a tight timeframe to return from our honeymoon and get to a friend's wedding in SF the next day. When we arrived to the hotel on a Saturday morning of a fully booked weekend, we explained to Kat at the front desk that we were going to be at a wedding that evening and would like to check in early if possible to freshen up before leaving. Not only was she totally wonderful to us while she looked for solutions, but she found us the first available room so we could drop our things and take a few deep breaths before heading out. Can't say enough positive things about her and the rest of the staff here, thank you.

At checkin was moved from one station to another with no explanation. Offered a full breakfast coupon. Arrived at the room learned it was a handicap. Then noticed the continental breakfast was checked. Returning to the front desk given a normal room and the correct breakfast box checked. 30 minutes after arriving was in my room.
