Because my conference hotel Marriott was fully booked I had to stay in Mosser hotel which is also located in 4th street very close to Moscone Center and market street. So the location itself is excellent. Also I can‘t complain regarding the stuff and housekeeping. On the other

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and speak highly of the Mosser Hotel when it comes to customer service. Built in 1913, we have quaint rooms that are well laid out and thought of for excellent use of space. We will also check the radiator for noise and we apologize for the inconvenience. Apparently our complimentary light breakfast is just a perk to start your day. We are walking distance to many different types of restaurants where you could explore and try out during your stay. All your observations were taken on a positive note. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel sometime soon. Have a great day! Best regards, Yvonne

Amazing location in downtown SF. They don't keep water bottles so get your own. Service folks are nice. The room was smallish but clean and comfortable. Haven't stayed at hotels in downtown SF so hard to compare. It is a bit noisy but didn't bother me much.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have a water dispenser (hot or cold) in the basement and all guests are welcome to use it. We are also centrally located where you have easy access to Trader Joes supermarket just steps away. We hope to see you again very soon. Sincerely, Yvonne

The Mosser is a true San Francisco experience. I've stayed here multiple times over many years and I always get the absolute best service. The hotel is amazing in the way that the shared bathrooms remain consistently crystal clean! This is not a hotel for people unaccustomed to

If you like a very strong smell of mold, street noise day and night, central heating radiator that makes loud clanking and hissing noise, and cannot be turn off or regulated (turning it off works with several hours of delay), then this is a perfect hotel for you. On top of the

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and I wished you had a better experience. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case that we fell short. Some guests have grown so fond of the Mosser Hotel but of course we do understand that it is not for everyone. Have a great day! Sincerely, Yvonne

There was a Union strike across the street. Drum banging and yelling until at least 10 PM and early in the morning. That aside, the Mosser is quaint to a fault. Some of the rooms are very small, in fact, small with only a sink. OUR ACCOMODATIONS were so much better, with a

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. With regard to the picketers at the Marriott Hotel across the street, it was beyond our control. We tried our very best to give our guests a heads-up about the situation before checking them in at our property. Built in 1913, we have contemporary quaint rooms that are well laid out with excellent use of the space for comfort. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel very soon! Sincerely, Yvonne

They do offer a valet service but do charge for it. Bigger cars cost a surcharge, but cannot remember the rates.

They stored our bags for us as we arrived before our room was ready & again before we left. Couldn't be more helpful. Yes we did tip porter both times but that was our choice.

Sorry, We take advantage of the bay area's excellent public transport, BART. and as mentioned the Powell station is close. around $10 a person/trip. From the Mosser it's a great walk to Coit tower, down through telegraph hill on stairs and ramps that go between quaint neighborhood then to pier 23 Cafe for tasty eats. We were there in crab season. if not the bloody mary's were good at the bar.
