This was my 3rd stay at The Mosser and I've loved each trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location puts you in walking distance to everything, including public transportation. And they do a "Wine Down Friday" happy hour with complimentary vino for all guests.

This hotel is very stylish, and cheap for its location at $150/night. The room we got was small, but had pretty much all my boyfriend and I needed. I didn't get a good nights sleep at all though (despite the comfortable, clean bed). Our room was situated right next to the very loud ice machine and there was a car... More

The Mosser hotel is ideally located in Union Square area (200m) with a lot of good restaurants very close. Hotel is clean with the minimum services expected from a 3 stars hotel. Rooms are very small and noise from other guest could be problem if you are sensible.

We stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Some of the rooms share bathrooms that are located in the hallways so be sure to check when you book if this would bother you. The rooms were on the small side but were very clean and well maintained and everything seemed pretty new. The beds are also smaller than your... More

I came here early this Spring to attend a convention. The hotel has very small rooms and looks a structure out of the Nineteenth Century will a very old style appearance and rooms. Having said that the hotel staff are friendly and the hotel is very well situated near all the major attractions including the famous cable cars that you... More

My fiancé and I stayed for one full day, then overnight in San Fransisco on our way to Sonoma. The Mosser was the most economical hotel we could find, and it was in a great location! The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The shared bathrooms are hard to get used to, but we didn't stay for... More

the hotel needs to be remodel. I stayed couple of days ago and my room had both sink and shower bath clogged. I called the front desk twice and put me on hold after 5 and 10 minutes i gave up. its dangerous to have both clogged specially if you want to use the dryer. Safety issue. My room was... More

The Mosser Hotel staff went above and beyond in customer service, attention to detail and helpfulness to guests. A shout out to Asst. Manager 'Nish' for making our stay extra special. The location is excellent and very close to the BART (rapid transit). Bravo Mosser Hotel!💐

Great location and alternative to the pricier surrounding hotels. Rooms small and fine for the traveler who doesn't require a large room. Downside is street noise. Bed comfortable. Large TV. Overall a good value.

I ended up staying here with a group I was with attending a conference, the hotel is in a great location within short walking distance to Market St. and the Moscone Convention Center. I stayed with a friend in a room with two beds and this room was really tiny. The two beds were twin size and the bathroom was... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
