Me and my friend only stayed at this hotel two nights, when we arrived the staff weren't exactly friendly and weren't very helpful, a young woman who worked there wasn't very polite on the last day of check out but the doorman was really friendly more than the actually staff haha, he seemed to help a lot more than anyone... The staff were really friendly from the moment we walked in, which was a great start. They do a free wine hour on a Friday at 5pm which also was much appreciated by us! The rooms are small but we wernt in San Fran to stay in our room much so this didn't bother us and it was fully equipped... More

Nothing much to complain but the room is pretty small, toilet also small. there is no airconditioning but who needs that in San Frans (cooooolddddd!) Centrally located, provides valet parking. have free coffee in the morning which is great. but just don't have good vibes about it, very commercial hotel and nothing special.

The perfect place to be when in San francisco. Good price as well as the location. Cleanliness wise they aced that and no problem seen on the room. We had an awesome service coming from the staffs and they are very helpful and approachable. Complimentary muffins and morning drinks are thumbs up. The elevator takes awhile though but everythings great!... More

We enjoyed very much our stay at The Mosser. I booked a double room, king bed, with bathroom and we had the wonderful surprise to be upgraded to an executive suite when we checked in. Nice bedroom, 2 very clean bathrooms, a small living room, absolutely wonderful! Despite the fact that the room was facing the street, we slept very... More

We had the queen studio, with shared toilets and shower. I was not impressed by this hotel. The service from front office desk was terrible.. They didn't say hallo or goodbye, rarely said a thing to you. Elevator was slow, and hallways were old. We chose this hotel our self, and new what we could expect - but still i... More

Rooms are expensive and size is not good, no air conditioning and no parking!!! 49 dollars per night only parking. Breakfast is coffee and muffin not more jejeje, for the same budget I will advice something better, not a bad hotel but expensive and for the budget you can find something more comfortable. The only advantage is the localization!! Near... More

I'll start off by saying that I like this hotel and I recommend it for any traveler on a budget in San Francisco. That being said, the shared baths/bathrooms do give it a bit more of a hostel atmosphere, and even with the windows closed it's very easy to hear others in the rooms near you and noise from outside.... We stayed one night, got no sleep due to traffic noise. The room was so small we could not open our suitcase properly to get anything out, only cooling was a fan and the room was stuffy and hot, the decor was shabby and the bathroom was filthy with remnants of another tenants hair all over it. This cost us... More

Very pretty hotel. We had queen room with shared bath and toilet. This was a concern at first but was never a problem. Great housekeeping staff. There is a lot of street noise but the double paned windows keep it quiet. Rooms very small but most of our days were spent sight seeing. My only complaint (and I hope owner... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
