Everything from the arrival to the departure was perfect. Everyone was so friendly. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and upgraded us because it was my husbands birthday. The breakfast was perfect as well. Everyone went the extra mile to assist us.
The Four Seasons hotel in San Fran is centrally located with easy access to the BART, and walking distance to most inner-city attractions/restaurants. The Staff and quality of the hotel are consistently high.
For those who know SF, this is a fairly new property, opened during the pandemic, in the space that used to be Loew's, which used to be a Mandarin Oriental. The location is nice because it's fairly discrete and set slightly back. When you walk in, it's clear that this hotel's restaurants are intended almost exclusively for guests. The lobby is small, the restaurant is pretty simply laid out, and the bathrooms (one each for men and women) must be unlocked with your room card to open them. We were given a room on an upper floor with a fantastic view of the bay. Everything still felt new and fresh, and they provide thoughtful amenities like fruit. Service was classic Four Seasons service - friendly, attentive, efficient and helpful. I spent a couple hours in the bar area with a friend, having coffee in the mid-afternoon, and someone checked in on us every so often, and we were never made to feel like we were overstaying. Whereas many places would have put us at a table for two (even if the place was empty as it was when we were there), they gave us a large booth that was big enough for us to sit slightly apart (which is always welcome in these pandemic times). The only complaint we had was that we had a clunky air conditioning unit that rumbled like a fog horn in the room a couple times during our stay. To be fair though, we didn't say anything until we were checking out because we only stayed one night. I imagine they will attend to it, but it was a reminder of how old the building itself is. The property had clearly been planned pre-pandemic when SF was bursting at its seams. I really hope that they will be able to make it.…
This is the best city hotel in the US that I've ever stayed in. Top notch service made me feel like staying at home. Additionally, it was brand new. The View was incredible, too. Absolutely recommended, whether for business or leisure
The four seasons reputation is in tact. Also this was the best hotel gym I've ever used, the views are all top floor level views since the property starts at 40th floor. Incredible all around staff. The staff was so kind and aware of our needs at all points. Staying for work and also having family present was a breeze with them at the helm.
This is truly a 5 star hotel that is brand new with luxury styling throughout and world class staff services. The views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge were breathtaking. The late checkout at 1pm was amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for a better, cleaner room.
We just finished a three-night stay at Four Seasons Embarcadero and our visit was OUTSTANDING in every way: The staff was genuine, kind and attentive; our room was comfortable with a beautiful view; and the room service breakfast was delicious and arrived at the EXACT time requested. I simply cannot recommend this hotel enough, and look forward to returning.
This was my first work trip after the pandemic. The staff, room service, gym, location, etc was exceptional! It was the absolute best time and very relaxing after my days of meetings to return to my room and see the views from my window and get delicious meals through room service.
Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero is just incredible. Since the beginning of our stay that every detail was taken into consideration. We arrived very early in the morning and as a long shot we asked for early check in, and front desk staff checked us in promptly. Moreover, they upgraded our room. We have a couple of other benefits (including breakfast which was equally incredible) as it was our first time in Four Seasons. At the end, we enjoyed so much the stay we asked for a late check out and the staff immediately accepted. No negative points to add.
I consider myself a fan of four seasons but I’ve never been to one which is so void of warmth and hospitality. House keeping would not clear my breakfast tree after cleaning the room. No fresh juice for breakfast, only bottled pasteurized. Definitely wasn’t worth it and won’t come back.
