To escape the San Francisco heatwave and wildfire smoke, we booked this hotel last-minute. They allow dogs which was critical for us. When we arrived they upgraded us to a top-floor room with a kitchenette. Room itself was stylish (totally my style - love the color palette) and bed was super comfortable. Haven't slept that well in some time! Hand sanitzer stations everywhere and lovely staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

I had such a wonderful stay. What a cute hotel. Considering I visited during the time of Covid19, the staff made every effort to be conscientious with gloves and masks. The beds were very comfortable. The staff very welcoming and service oriented. The room was incredibly spacious, decorated with boutique flair, and had all the amenities I needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Happy and WOWED.

You have to keep in mind this is a 60's motor lodge that has been converted into a botique hotel so if you're fine with that, this might be a good choice. Service:Seemed fine, no problems. Room:Fine, well decorated. Some furniture starting to show some wear. Bed, linens, fixtures all great. Amenities, fine. Location:Really good if you want to be on that side of town. Far preferable to downtown for me. About the only downside is that you just can't overcome some parts of being in an old building like this. The elevator is still the original one from the 60's and looking very warn as are the doors and a few other things. My floor sqeaked but these may be minor things to you. I suppose it comes down to the price paid. My stay was still in early stages of everything re-opening and very resonable so I feel it was an excellent value. I noticed the price for later in the summer would be triple my rate so I would have been disappointed if I had paid that much. This hotel might be right for you but just know what it is before hand. It's not a grand or new luxury hotel but has appeal if this is what you're looking for.

I'm staying 3 nights here as I terminate a lease on a nearby apartment. We're still in COVID-19-land, so no usual amenities are available. In the face of that, the staff have been incredibly attentive. I can get tea or coffee in the lobby, and when asked about decaf in the morning, the staff brought a full pot to my room rather than just alerting me to come help myself. It's tough being in the hotel business during this time, but these folks are rising above - way above - expectations. Other great things about this place - I'm staying on the 2nd floor and the window actually opens, letting in the wonderful SF breezes. It's also an easy walk to many, many great take-out restaurants. When public transit resumes, it has the advantage of being on many major bus lines. All that said, if you like luxury, this isn't for you. It's a refurbished old motor inn, and while it's perfectly comfortable, there's only so much they could do with what they had. Bathroom is upgraded and modern and the room is spacious. There's a tiny fridge and small closet. For me...if and when I need to come back to the area, this will be my first choice of accommodation.

Staff in this hotel go out of their way to assist guests with whatever they need and REMEMBER THEIR NAMES. Always clean, quiet. Location is away from center of city but local transit readily available outside the door.
