This hotel allows fraud and blatantly steals your money. My bank account card was used fraudulently to place or make a reservation and when the charge came in, they refused to refund my money. They steal just as the person they allowed to make the false charge. I did not travel or made any reservations.
This hotel is in a great location to walk to everything and to catch tour buses, ferry boats, and cable cars. The hotel is not a 5 star, but had everything we needed for the family. The staff was great and helpful.
Close to the wharf. Walking distance to Little Italy, the Ferry Building (and its market), Coit Tower and China Town. Get the MUNI app or a bike and you can be anywhere in the city in 30 min or less. Hotel was clean. Staff were polite. Worth it if you get a deal.
Overall very good hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great location, quiet, but there was very poor water pressure in the shower. If you love a good shower or have thick hair, make sure to pack the dry shampoo. Perhaps it was better in other rooms?
We planned a mini vacation and wanted to stay at Fisherman's Wharf. The Hyatt Centric was perfect distance for walking to the shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect! Just a short walk to both Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square so lots of eating and drinking options within walkable distance. The hotel was very clean, large and very quiet rooms, sunny swimming pool. Every staff person we encountered in our four days there were so very pleasant. Excellent service in all areas.
The hotel room was ok if spartan. But the Brick and Beam hotel restaurant was sad. Worn out furnishings and breakfast served on paper with plastic forks even though we weren't taking out. Very poor service, insulting to guests.
This place has dirty dated rooms. The room we got smelled like armpits. We had to place one of my son's dirty diapers in the middle of the room to improve the smell. Homeless people outside of the hotel at all times. Unsafe for a family with kids.
Great place to stay in SF! Good location to wander around and catch public transit. A bit of a mix up with our reservation because we came a night late and then our room wasn't ready. They accommodated us with a breakfast food credit. Super quiet room and nice beds.
On our voyage to and through California, I ve chosen Hyatt Fishermans Wharf as our central location for our 2nd stay at San Francisco. Everything went superb with Hyatt quality, exception to a decadent mechanic failure of the elevators failling a much needed maintenance , plus the lack of quality in the restaurant that served our breakfast each morning : Quality was all right, though inferior to the quality we are used to meet at other Hyatt Hotels (such as Hyatt Regency Chicago, Hyatt Arlington or Hyatt Regency Boston). What was absolutely innapropriate and unnacceptable was to have our orders served in cardboxxes !
