I stayed at the Handlery on july 27th, room 233, with my small dog. The room was very small, and the window was facing a wall so not much light coming in. The whole hotel is old and room outdated, especially the bathroom. They charge $42 for the car parking which is the usual fee in SF area, and $25...

We stayed in a historic King room which was large and nicely decorated. There was a bit of music from the street until about 9pm but then it was quiet. The free breakfast offer that we got was good, although we did find it was busy everyday so there was a small wait. We thought Union Square was a good...

This hotel is in a fabulous location, in the heart of Union Square, San Francisco. We usually like to stay in quite nice hotels, however as we did this trip on a budget, we took a punt and booked The Handlery; we were not disappointed at all! Rooms are large enough, clean and totally adequate and believe me, you won't...

You can't get a better location in SF, right in the heart of things, close to public transport and the Westfield shopping centre. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but otherwise fine. The concierge is very helpful and gives all kind of tips. The restauarnt, "The Daily Grill" was pretty good, but is very popular for breakfast...

Taking our grandson on vacation, we primarily chose the Handlery because they were the best option we could find for adjoining rooms. We stayed in the back section -- and had a balcony overlooking O'Farrell Street. Loved the rooms -- comfortable, clean and more spacious than expected. We had purchased muni passes for the week long stay. Upon arrival, Hermie...

Pop out of the garage and a coffee shop is right there orany number of eateries. Good water pressure on the showers andacomfortable bed.
