Conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco, Galleria Park gives you easy access to everything the Bay Area has to offer to its visitors. The hotel is located with easy access to the Bay Area's central transit systems of BART, MUNI and the fabled cable cars. Within blocks are Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, Moscone Convention Center, and several world-class museums. The hotel is just steps away from world-class shopping destinations in Union Square--an area that is definitely a tribute to the power of shopping. Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, Gump's and a very substantial Macy's are right on the Union Square. The venerable Bullock and Jones and Tiffany and Co. are within walking distance, as is the nine-story Westfield San Francisco Shopping Centre with its three-level Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. It is also a center for exclusive couture and high fashion, with boutiques dedicated to Betsey Johnson, Kate Spade, Herve Leger, Karen Miller, and Michael Kors. Post Street, which is a block away from Galleria Park is where the high-end stores are located including Ralph Lauren, Ferragamo, Juicy Couture, Tory Burch, Ferrari and Porsche clothing stores.

Hotel is situated in a great location somewhat between Union sq and the financial district. Just 5min walk into the shopping district. Many restaurants, shopping and Chinatown all within walking distance. The area is quiet and safe at night. I was staying alone for a couple of days and didn’t encounter any safety issues. The staff are great too. Friendly and warm without being too intrusive. Loved the wine hour and really enjoyed the wine. Housekeeping could be improved through.. else all is great.

Such a great stay! From the start to the very last min there. We arrived very very early in the am. The gentleman at the desk found an upgraded room which was ready for us to check in. This was soo wonderful as we just flew in from hawaii and were in need of a shower. I was able to get washed up and we hit the town right after. The hotel is soo cute and nicely decorated. They serve fruit water and tea daily as well as a wine hour in the evening. This was right before the covid-19 got very bad so we were treated with reassurance and cleanliness. Everytime we stepped back into the hotel from adventuring, we were treated with warmth and genuine interest in how our day went. When it was time to leave, we were soo sad to go. We ended up staying out till much past our checkout time and kept calling in to extent. When we finally got back, they did not make us feel rushed and were understanding. It was such an amazing trip and a fantastic stay. We will for sure be back!

OMG, I gave a fabulous review of this hotel and the I realized two things. I never got the bill in an e-mail as promised and worse I saw a charge of $33.77 on my credit card when I thought I had paid in full upon reserving the room. The charge was for amenities. What amenities you may ask - well I used a tea bag in the room. I didn't get coffee in the lobby and I didn't use wifi. So beware of hidden fees. Know ahead what extras you will pay. Very disappointed and when I called there was no offer of even a partial refund.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable and modern rooms and common areas. The gym has two Pelotons, which is a very nice amenity. Coffee and tea downstairs in the mornings, and a wine hour in the early evening. The team there seems to really enjoy their work and their guests, and everyone made an effort to make us feel welcome. Convenient location as well.
