lovely little boutique hotel, about 15 or 20 mins from anywhere you would want to go to in san francisco. we stayed there on our honeymoon and would definately go back. the room was idyllic, immaculate and had 100 percent all you would need. yeah the floorboards creak a wee bit and you might hear the odd door close but... Perched on a hill in residential Pacific Heights, the Drisco is a small gem away from the tourist bustle. I love it because it is a converted mansion with architectural charm, very comfortably furnished with cozy chairs, reading lamps, great beds and luxury linens. The staff is warm and friendly, breakfast buffet is just right and served in a sun-filled... More

We were deeply disappointed by our Drisco experience. I booked a Deluxe King in this hotel as a treat for the last part of my first holiday with my partner in three years, to end it in a nice environment/neighborhood and to be looked after by what seemed like a service-oriented hotel in a fabulous part of town. The hotel... More

I am always deeply disappointed when my guests do not have an enchanting experience at Hotel Drisco. Fortunately, as the many positive reviews here on TripAdvisor and other internet sites can attest, that is a very rare occurrence. I would like to thank my guests for taking the time to post their review, and I sincerely apologize for the disappointment... More

Boy, you could not ask for a better, more enjoyable, attentive place to stay. Incredibly thoughtful staff. They really go out of their way to make your stay special and welcoming. It's a good location without the hustle and bustle of being in Union Square. I can't say enough for this hotel. Thank you for a very memorable stay. P.... More

I missed a flight, company meeting. No worries. I got put up here, and it was like a mini-vaca. 24 hr coffee (I'm an addict), great rooms, and a bed to DIE for. All I did was decompress and watch HBO. Comfy. Cozy. With ROOM service! :-) I loved it.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful: they upgraded our room, called taxis, made sure we had everything we needed and were unfailingly courteous. The breakfast was first class, the orange pastries a revelation. We were particularly grateful for the 24hour coffee and tea station in the lounge when we woke up jet lagged at three in the morning. Cheese... More

We stayed a night at the Drisco and really enjoyed our time in Pacific Heights- an upscale, residential neighborhood with excellent views and dining nearby. It's a very distinctive location and provides for a unique SF experience...far away from the tourist crowds often seen at other SF hotels. Our rooms was very comfortable and well appointed and the free breakfast... More

Wonderful hotel from start of booking process to departure. Elizabeth Carr handles our email booking with efficiency and care. As a party of 4 we were directed to a 2 bedroom suite on the top floor. When we arrived - amazing!!!!! Views over the bay from Pacific Heights were stunning and unexpected. Apparently Presidents have stayed here - I can... More

Light sleepers beware!! We just returned from a two night stay and would be hesitant about returning as you can hear everything from the surrounding guest rooms - creaking floorboards from footsteps across the room above, thumping from people walking up and down the stairs, even as far as a vibrating mobile phone, from the above room, at 6am on...
