We booked online.. we arrived and saw the aggresive street people, not a real problem to me, but the drug dealer using the hotel carpark for transactions was, the hotel has no restrictions on access so the staff were unaware that this guy was dealing,...More
very nice staff. this place really reminded me of the good ol' roadside motor inn, much like when we went to the beach as kids. the room was clean and the small 'fridge and microwave was a big help saving on always eating out. I...More

We have stayed here before. The last time we noticed changes. The room was a bit "tired". The sheets had holes in them. Bed not as comfortable. The breakfast was minimal at best. They now charge for parking ...not much $10-$15. Staff are still friendly.
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
