I enjoyed the six nights at the Serrano. The location is excellent and only minutes from the Union Square where there are a large number of places to shop and dine. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Enjoyed our stay. Couples trip. On the 4th floor, so could hear noises from the street, even with windows closed. Only semi-negative part, but wouldn't stop me from staying there again. Lobby and rooms pleasantly decorated. Close enough to Union square, but not as expensive as places in Union Square proper. Concierge was great. First hotel I have ever had...

Obviously that great polite staff can make the difference in a journey. When this is combined with good size comfy room and nice atmosphere this is even better. O have enjoyed the place and the surrounding union square with all it has to offer. Thanks a lot I would want to get back.

The price was reasonable for the area. The interior is classic and well maintained. My room was small but sufficient. My only complaint was a lack of a place to hang clothes. There is a workout room, a sauna. a restaurant, and parking. If you don't mind a little walk it's easy access to the sights and businesses of San...

The hotel met with my expectations for the price point. Room size reflects the price point. Very clean and in a good location for the Moscone center ( 10 minute walk). Good access to Market street and accessible from the Bart

I have stayed at this hotel a couple times. It's a great location about 7 mins walk from BART. Lobby is welcoming with water and coffee in the morning. Friendly staff. And the rooms are great. Not fancy or the most modern but definitely cozy and comfortable.

Not a 4 star . This is a rip off, in the worst location , service was very poor , and it stank. No room service as well. I've never lived in a hotel worse than this . Stay at hilton next to it which is 200x better and is about the same price

We went to see a show at the Curran Theater which is a block and a half away, so the location was really good from that standpoint. It was also close to Union Square and all the shopping there. The restaurant was also very good.

There's no question that the hotel is a quaint property. It's got the charm of a historic hotel. The staff, for the most part, it's excellent. The check-in was a little dry. I'm used to a much different experience--energy, sense of genuine interest in the guest, and trying to be accommodating. Check-in was more like talking to a wall. I...

The room was so small. There was not a closet for my luggage and I had to use the top of the nightstands. Bathrooms was so small that the door got in the way. Not sure how SF can continue to charge such high rates for hotels that I don't want to walk on the carpet without my shoes. The...
