Cant wait to return! Amazing staff, amenities, and restaurant. Especially loved the robes, bath products, and wine service! Bed was comfortable and I had an excellent view. Checking in and out was also easy.

Was here on a work trip. The room/amenities seemed priced for the location, rather than the actual value. The pros: - Clean room. - Friendly staff. - Great location. The cons: - Mini bar didn't actually lock. - Shower diverter didn't send all the water pressure to the shower. - Sound travels from the hallway into the room, and probably...

pros: -the restaurant is cute and our breakfast was tasty cons: -Customer service like a 1 star property: we left items in room and NO ONE returns phone calls or does what they promise. Overall very poor customer service. Staff has attitudes, hardly answers the phone, doesn't try to help you. -No amenities - no room service except breakfast -bad...

A very pleasant ambience to our short stay in San Francisco. Very clean spacious room and up to the minute bathroom. Ideal location, close to everything as well as the BART for quick access to the airport. Very efficient staff and helpful doorman. Good vbalue. I would stay there again.

We are return customers to Hotel Zelos. The hotel is just a block or so from the Powell Street BART station, which is very convenient as we could leave our car at home. The check in staff were prompt and courteous, and even upgraded our room. The rooms are very clean and stocked with plush robes and lovely toiletries. The...

My wife and I spent a long weekend in San Francisco over the recent Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. We booked a four-star hotel on Hotwire and received the Hotel Zelos. It was a good deal but not a great one, as rooms are generally less expensive in the bay area during the month of January. As others, have already...

Stayed for a long weekend. Location is fabulous. Waking distance to shopping, eating, and public transportation. Room was very clean and well stocked. Faced 4th rather than Market and it was quiet. Staff could not have been friendlier. Ate late night at Dirty Habit (5th floor restaurant) and it was good. Prices better than the other hotels nearby. Will return

Fist time I stood at the hotel when it used to be Kimpton Palomar in 2010. I am coming with my employees every your for a convention at Moscone center. I tried other hotels over the time - Mariott Marquie and Hilton Parc 55 and now realize Zelos is the best for me. I like spatious and always clean rooms...

This hotel is a hidden jewel of San Francisco. The location is at the center of downtown San Francisco with many shopping area and attractions. It happens to be a Lunar New Year Parade and the parade was just next to the hotel. Room is clean and all the amenities are well prepared. Personally, I prefer soap bar but they...

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
