Awesome hotel & experience! Highly recommended. We took advantage of a special offer that included their breakfast buffet (a bit too pricey if not included). Loved the warm pool + hot jacuzzi. Room was amazing, and staff was fantastic.
I'd heard a lot about the Nikko brand over the years, and was curious to try it out when our conference was set here. Great location near Union Square with a lot of interesting shopping and dining options around. Cafe Mason, Pinecrest Diner, all in easy walking distance. The food at the hotel was very good with very attentive staff. Buffet had Japanese dishes as to be expected from the brand in addition to the standard breakfast fare. A little pricey, but probably on par given the location and type of hotel. Got a room on an upper floor with a fantastic view of downtown. The conference rooms had amazing views of the city. Rooms were on the medium size, not huge, but not tiny either. No desk, but could still work on the table in the room. Fluffy robes, towels and slippers included. Be careful opening the mini bar, just looking at it will get you a charge on your bill. The hotel seemed to be finding it's footing in the post covid era, with limited lunch options in the hotel (room service only), but not a huge inconvenience. Some areas closed off in the lobby. Very quiet, invisible housekeeping staff, only thin I saw them once in the halls, but everything was clean and very well kept. There were signs that the hotel was dog friendly They apparently had a balcony that you could schedule a playdate with the hotel dog. Neat touch. I would have liked to have met the dog. Staff was great on departure from removing the aforementioned room charge to helping me find my Uber outside the entrance. All in all a good stay.…
Great hotel for that location. Friendly staff, good cuisine, clean rooms, very nice interior, veggie possibilities, great equipped gym, nice lounge and good bar at the second floor. Definitely a hotel to pick if you are staying at downtown of SFO.
We return to San Francisco after 6 years and we wanted to get a better experience than the last one in another Hotel (Hyatt) so my son did choose the Niko specially for its architecture, interior design and the Feng Shui elements. At the same time the reviews of tourist around the world that stayed recently at the Nikko helped us to choose this wonderful hotel with great staff (house keeping, front desk, Anzu Restaurant (delicious & nutritive food). Now that we return to South America I totally recommend Hotel Nikko! Should i have to say they are pet friendly too? Thats wonderful!!
A wonderful city get away. I have some health issues, so was not able to go out to the nearby SF attractions, but the hotel alone is like a little resort. The lobby and lounge are beautiful and peaceful, and the location of Feinstein's within the hotel meant I could easily attend evening entertainment by the Alpha Rhythm Kings. My friends enjoyed the gorgeous pool and dining there as well! Very friendly, professional staff, -- exceptionally thoughtful in helping with my health needs.
It was very clean and detail oriented nice service all together. Love all the amenities they have and excellent staff. Can’t say bad thing about them. I would love to stay again. Their bed was so comfortable.
Very rude frontdesk asking his guests for a "definition" of turndown. Kept staring at the guest when the guest could not offer a "definition", without even the smallest attempt to resolve the embarrassment he created to the guests.
I arrived at SFO in the morning on a RED EYE FLIGHT and was able to check-in early, so I could wash away my fatigue and my afternoon work went very well. In the evening I soaked in the bathtub and relaxed. All in all, it was a very good stay and I would like to come back.
Spotless, quiet, elegant hotel with very friendly staff, with a prime location in downtown SF. Feinstein’s is a great showroom. If you’re driving, finding the entrance to the hotel is a little tricky even with Siri guiding you.
From arrival to checkout this was a stellar hotel experience. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming and every corner was spotless. Having a heated pool was outstanding due to the unexpected poor weather. I do with that the TVs had options to sign into streaming networks or cast vs paying for movies but it didn't impact my stay.
