King George Hotel is a nice conveniently located hotel in San Francisco. The staff are extremely helpful, especially Franz. Who provided me restaurant options, organised the valet parking as well as the late check out request. I will definitely stay at the King George again especially when visiting the San Francisco Bay area.

The rooms are tiny, bathrooms even more so. Beds are ridiculously small, tall people do not fit in them at all. The hotel claims it has WiFi. No WiFi at all in your room on the ninth Floor. When you change to another room there is WiFi that works only half of the time. And this is central San Francisco.... More

Dear Karl, Thank you very much for your recent feedback. Am very sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. We do provide refrigerators on a request basis and I will certainly reach out to our hotel internet provider regarding the WIFI on the 9th floor. Rest assured that I take your comments very seriously and that I... More

This hotel was a wonderful find. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we felt right at home. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating. They made arrangements for my friends and I to have rooms next to each other. The room was comfortable and clean. There was no A/C but the breeze from the window was perfect and... More

King George Hotel in San Francisco is an average 3 star hotel in the Union Square area - the hotel is fine, and seemed generally clean enough, it is perhaps a bit tatty and worn in parts, but most of the bedroom area was pretty modern. The bed was far too high off the ground on some curious box with... More

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights while we were in town for the Avon 39 walk. I can't say enough about how great this place is! Very clean rooms, nice toiletries, extremely comfortable bed, many USB ports for charging your electronics - the list goes on. The price is reasonable for the are (SF hotels can be... More

Stayed with two friends in a double room in late June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room felt quite small because there were three of us and only two double beds. We felt like we were in the land of giants because the beds were so high, as was the sink in the bathroom. The bathroom was quite tight... More

This hotel is lovely. It has an interesting history being built for the world trade exhibition in 1910 ish. They have refurbished to a high quality reminiscent of that period. Reception really helpful and bar staff welcoming at end of day. We knew we were on fringes of Tenderloin area but surprised at drunks and destitute hanging around the area.... More

I've stayed at King George for business several times over the last 5 years and it gets better all the time. Great location, convenient to Union Square, Powell St. Cable car line, Moscone Center and Market Street shopping. The rooms have been redecorated and the beds are super comfortable. The staff is always very helpful. This is my favorite place... More

We stayed for four nights at King George hotel and got a great price; it was comparable to what we would have paid for a "hotel" with shared bathrooms. However at the King George we got our own bathrooms as well as two twin beds. Although the room was small, it fit all of our needs and was at a... More
