The hotel staff were always friendly and happy to help with any request including booking/ liasing with tour companies for day trips. The rooms are fairly basic but in terms of value for money it's great. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable (pillows could be better), we had a private bathroom which was fine. Hard to beat location, less than 5 min walk from the Bart station and cable car turnaround. Would be happy to stay there again.

Very clean room. Very centrally located. Can walk to many shops and downtown locations. Didn't sleep well because of the noise and lack of air conditioning. No breakfast, but many options within 100m radius.

San Francisco is definitely an expensive place to go and stay. We stayed in one of there Deluxe room and had a view on Powell street which was cool. We didn't find it really noisy like some other comments I've read . The bed was comfortable enough. Everything was clean and the staff was really friendly. The only comment I...

We were very disappointed when we got to our room it looked nothing like the nice pictures and is just a very stripped back hostel style room. The photos show picture frames, a nice chair etc but we had none of that. We actually said to ourselves is this seriously the right room?? I understand not all rooms are the...

We stayed in a room with shared bathroom facilities. The room itself was clean and was great for a couple of nights in San Francisco. However, right next to our room only seperated through a locked door was the bathroom of the adjacent hotel room. We could hear everything our neighbors did, especially when they came in at 2 am...

It wasn't the best, but it definitely wasn't the worst. My boyfriend and I stayed in a room with a queen sized bed and a shared bathroom. The room itself looked quite nice. As for the shared bathroom, I was a little thrown off and it took some getting used to. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but...

Apologies for the late review. I and my wife stopped at the Herbert for 4 nights over the Christmas period (travel dates were 24th December to 27th December 2015) and had a wonderful time. We utilised the BART from the Airport and found no issue with reaching our arrival destination at Powell Street station. The Hotel is so easy to...
