Neighborhood
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.

The location is really perfect. Central to North Beach, Ferry Building, BART and yes, the Tenderloin is great. Very walkable if you are mobile enough and willing enough to do it. Walking San Francisco's hills is a great workout. The bar is great especially since Seven Stills

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights (2nd -6th September) and we really enjoyed our stay. When we decided to visit San Francisco my partner spent a long time looking at hotels, we wanted somewhere in a good location, either near tourist spots or close to public transport. After

Hello Andrew, Wow! Thank you for choosing Stanford Court for your recent San Francisco holiday. We are delighted to hear you had a wonderful stay and are honored to be your new home away from home. We love that our Whiskey collection helped aid your decision and that your expectations were met in our lobby bar with our friendly knowledgeable staff, and great local selection of craft beers and spirits. We pride ourselves on being tech savvy with our streaming capabilities on our TV's and Blazing fast WiFi so thank you for recognizing these guest amenities, we are so pleased you were impressed with them. I apologize you were not aware of our lobby concierge, all of our staff are trained and ready to assist our guests with anything they need and I am happy you felt well taken care of. We greatly appreciate your review and kind comments. Thank you very much for recommending us, this truly means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you back next time you are visiting SF. Overall the experience was great! The door guys were amazing. The younger bartender who was there Friday night was wonderful! A replenishment of water bottles would have been a total bonus. Also, a newer shower head would really add to the bathroom experience.

Is there a room service menu available?
I can’t remember but we did get food from the restaurant to bring back to the room. Was not memorable.

I did not go to the Cruise terminal, so can't answer this but I guess, perhaps 7 to 10 miles. Best to take a taxi. SF has a large network of public transport but as a stranger to the city, I would not know where to take a bus or tram or trolley. Best to take a taxi.

Yes you can park at the hotel, but they do charge. They do offer different packages that might include parking. Driving in San Francisco is always an adventure!
