Stayed at Stanford Court. Such a beautiful hotel with a very good location. A short walk to Union Square and all the shopping there + on the tram line to Fisherman's wharf. Our room was large, the gym excellent and the staff very helpful.

Central location, next to cable car route. Is on a hill though so walking can be a little bit of an effort. Spacious room, friendly staff. Has USB ports by beside. Bath/shower, quiet rooms. Only has chiller rather than fridge in room but is available on request.

Hello, Thank you for your review! We couldn't be happier to hear that our central location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff made for such an enjoyable getaway. As you noted, SF is famous for our hills, and we are fortunate to be located at the crossing of the city's two cable car lines, making it easy for our guests to get to our hotel without breaking a sweat. We also offer bikes and e-bikes for our guests to use as they explore the city, and we hope that you will give this a try the next time you make yourself at home with us. Until then! All the best, Kelsey O'Leary Director of Front Office

Our travel agent mentioned this hotel to us, so after seeing other good reviews my husband and I decided to stay here for 2 nights. We had a really nice view from our window and we were close enough that we could walk to a lot of places. We had something to eat at the lounge, our waiter Jorge was very helpful and did a good job in taking our orders. (even got to practise some of my Spanish with him.) I don't know what kind of cleaning products they use to clean with but because I have allergies to strong scents the smell everytime we came back into the hotel was very overwhelming. For this reason we would not stay at this hotel again, but other than that we had a good stay.

Hello, It was so great to have you with us on your recent SF getaway, and we are glad to hear that our city views and convenient Nob Hill location allowed you to make the most of your time in the city. We are further pleased to read that Jorge left such an impression on you, and we look forward to sharing your kind words with him. As we know that many of our guests are sensitive to strong scents, we do our best to choose cleaning products that leave no lasting smell, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us so that we can work to find an even better line of products to use in the future. Once more, we thank you for making yourself at home with us, and we hope to have another chance to welcome you back again for a more enjoyable experience on your next trip to the city. I stayed with my wife and two dogs over a weekend after a business trip. The staff treated us very well. The first night we had a room facing California Street. It was noisy as the room overlooks the cable car line and it is a busy street. The staff switched us out to a room overlooking Pine Street, which was much quieter. Book direct and the hotel throws in free breakfast and some other perks. The breakfast spread was extensive and worth it. Plus, the hotel is two blocks away from Huntington Park, a great place for the dogs.

Hi there, It was a pleasure to welcome your whole family - four-legged members included! - to the Stanford Court Hotel, and it made our day to read what a wonderful time you had exploring the nearby attractions. As you noted, our location at the crossing of the city's two cable car lines makes for one-of-a-kind SF experience, though for light sleepers, we do recommend our interior facing rooms for a quieter experience. We thank you for sharing your feedback with us, as well as your fellow travelers, and we look forward to welcoming you back again on your next getaway. All the best, Kelsey O'Leary Director of Front Office

Amidst the Coronavirus, my husband and I continued our stay at this hotel. Upon checking in, they gave us some voucher for welcome drinks at the bar and gave us a top-floor room with amazing San Francisco view! Wow! Super love the interior, the bed is comfy, and they have an awesome staff. Shoutout to Honeybee for taking care of us at the bar. Such great service! Glad we chose this hotel. P.S. The location is superb, no need to book uber/lyft. Restaurants are walking distance! Close to shops as well!
