This place is nicely located, Walgreen's conveniently across the street. Rooms are big, shutters look new. Carpet is a mess, there are holes on the wall, hotel needs to be renovated. We got there Saturday afternoon and got a room on the fourth floor, did not see an elevator but its ok we got to exercise a bit walking up...

We stayed two new nights. Rooms are clean but need renovation. Parking is free but they don't have many, but we were lucky enough to have one. Some of the parking are under a roof and are very narrow, like 10" wider than the car; so it need a good driver to park there... internet wifi was so slow that...

Very good price for standard and location. Near to Golden Gate. A lot of pubs, restaurants all around. Room was big. Nothing to complain about. Maybe in early morning was a little bit noisy but for my needs - so just sleeping - it was Ok.

Don't stay here! Rooms are noisy, paperwalls! and staff is awfull! When we checked in there were no trouble at all, the room was fine. The troubles started when we went back to our room. At 8 pm we heard a lot of noise going on at the room above us. They walked in and out and around and it...

Not lavish at all but it is clean, affordable and in a good location. Bus stop right outside, 24 hour Walgreens across the street along with restaurants down the street. Staff was nice. Towels and linings were decent quality. Hotel is located at busy intersection so can be a little noisy at night. Other than that, hotel was safe and...

my room was spotless. It was also updated with reasonable remodel. Yellow cab came to the door within 4 minutes each day after I called. Rooms along Lombard at any facility can be noisy. Nice clean pool in the courtyard, but I didn't have time to use it. My cell phone (IPhone) worked fine anywhere, also received all email, etc...

I stayed here for 4 nights and found it to be satisfactory for my purposes. I really just needed an inexpensive, clean place to sleep while visiting museums and restaurants in the city. The location is good, not great, and the surrounding area is safe. Being familiar with the bus system made it quite easy to get to the attractions...

Booked in 4nights but only needed central location with access to good sightseeing , restaurants and public transport. That it was. Spacious room, good shower but whole cubit needs facelift.. Tiles taken off front of bathroom vanity and stacked under sink as if waiting to be fixed, really noisy aircon, lots of marks and small holes in many places. Smoke...

This place came up on an Internet booking site and was way cheaper than the rest. It's in a safe location near the presidio and Golden Gate Bridge so I thought it would be at least decent. Boy was I wrong. (See the pictures) the place is really run down. My room was facing Lombard so it was noisy all...

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
