This hotel is very convenient for someone like us visiting san francisco with a car. Parking in this city is very expensive so being able to park for free at the hotel is very good. Heard people complaining about the small parking places but we had a large Ford Explorer Suv and had no problem parking or exiting the park.... More

You get what you pay for at this value motel. Rooms are clean and comfortable and not too noisy. If you need a basic hotel for a couple of nights this is fine. Taxi to downtown 12 dollars but you can walk to fisherman so wharf and to great view of Golden Gate.

This hotel is very confortable with a affordable price. Very good breakfest with some variety. Beds super soft with a clean and beautiful bath tube. The most of hotels in San Francisco are expensive, but this one is definitely worthy.

Good location to explore San Francisco. Rooms are clean and spacious for two. Small breakfast available as well. Restaurants in close proximity. Good value for money. Parking available as well, even though it is quite tight.

I was in the city to catch a flight the next day. It made sense to find a hotel that was reasonably priced and didn't have too many complaints about it. Seaside Inn sort of fit the bill. My first impression was not very good, actually I was worried. It wasn't an inn at all but an upgraded motel. I... More

We found the seaside inn to be great value, it's a novelty to have a well-priced hotel with parking in San Fran. However, when we first arrived (on a Sunday) we couldn't park as the carpark is very small. There were no restrictions on the road as it was the weekend, so I left it there overnight and luckily there... More

We stayed in San Francisco for a few days as part of a much bigger trip around California. Although not the usual type of place we would choose to stay, due to it's location and availability we chose to spend a couple of nights at the Seaside Inn. To be completely honest, our first impressions were not great as we... More

I stayed at this hotel the last week in October with my sister and friend. The location of this hotel is very convenient. It has a gas mart steps away, a Mel's dinner a few blocks down the street and IHOP is blocks away. Its about a 25 min. walk to Fisherman's Wharf, a park and a supermarket is only... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
