Great staff especially Alison the day hostess. Amazing coffee!!!! Beds were comfortable. Uber makes it really accessible. Rooms are small but nice. We don't have anything negative, but like anywhere in San Francisco parking is off-site and costs.

The Grove Inn is a beautiful little place to stay for any reason. We were lucky enough to get the suite, (downstairs), no use of stairs and right next to breakfast in the morning. We rate it a 4 only due to the lack of parking.

Dear Valerie, Thank you for your kind review! We hear you on the lack of parking. As we are located in a residential neighborhood, and with space being at an absolute premium in San Francisco, there is only two-hour on-street parking available during the week. Street parking is available on weekends, and there is a public parking garage 5 blocks... More

We booked this hotel for a quick 1 night stay in San Francisco and hated the room. We booked a queen bedroom, called their deluxe queen, it was clearly not a queen bed and the opposite of deluxe. We can't figure out where they got the photos they show on their website. The room was TINY, so tiny that there... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We want to take this opportunity to respond to the issues you raised: - You were provided the room you stayed in as you had requested a bathroom with a bathtub; as we only have two deluxe queen rooms with tubs, and the other room was already reserved, your room was the only... We were recently in the US for three weeks and The Grove Inn was our favourite accommodation. It's located in a neighbourhood area near the famous Painted Ladies, but walking distance to shops and restaurants. One block to walk to catch the bus downtown. We had a room at the back of the property so it was quiet. It's basically... More

We were welcomed on arrival by a friendly Brit/Swiss man who showed us to our room and made us feel at home. This B&B is everything we wanted for our 3 night stay in San Fransisco. Comfortable and clean in a good location. Breakfast was also good with a large choice of food. Recommended.

The staff is lovely and I really liked the character of this little boutique hotel. The breakfast was simple but great. You could use the computer and printer for free, which was a great plus if you had booked tours or a car (like me). I would stay there again. Had everything you need and giving the fact that SF... Stayed here in April 2016 for 4 nights. This B & B is clean and quiet with spacious rooms. Located in a quiet neighbourhood near to painted ladies off Alamo Square. It is a good 10 minute walk to bus stops to get to city centre. Breakfast is a help yourself cold buffet but very acceptable. Not the place to... More

I was not sure about stay in a B&B, however this place is better than a hotel. The staff is very friendly. The house is so clean, the bathroom are so clean and tidy. The house keeps the Victorian decoration conserving the area style. Breakfast: coffee, juice, milks, fruits, toast, cheeses, muesli... Coming from the UK, I was in shocked... More
