My 21 year old son and I visited California and spent 3 nights at the Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco. This hotel is top-notch and in a great, albeit touristy, location. Located right near Fisherman's Wharf, it's actually about 2 blocks from all the hustle and bustle, so the street is a little quieter than most in the area. Right...

Wow, this was an amazing place to stay in San Francisco. This is an extremely kid friendly hotel in a great location. Located about 1 mile or so from Pier 39 and about 2 blocks from Ghiradelli Square. To help kids learn more about the hotel, they engage them in a fun scavenger hunt with a special prize at the...

I am an avid Kimpton fan and stumbled upon this hotel when my usual SF Kimpton, Harbor Court was booked. Traveling for business the location was not ideal (tough to get in and out) but it is at the end of the FW area so tolerable. The rooms are spacious and bright. A corner room can be a bit noisy...

I love marine style! Very unique decoration and very clean. You have a super big and comfortable bed and a couch, a flat TV and relatively small bathroom for the standard room. Very close to the Fisherman's Wharf, have quite a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Worth it!

Walking up the the rather nondescript building you wouldn't guess the incredible decor that's just inside. Right up my alley. The Lobby - is warm and welcoming with cool features like brick walls, a cozy fireplace, an amazing clock and large sails. The Bedroom - was superb - beds extremely comfortable with fine linens, brick wall, large tv, minibar and...

We visited Argonaut on the first stop of a celebratory trip to celebrate my fiancées 40th birthday. The staff were ultra friendly and after I contacted them to inform them of this fact they went out of their way to make our stay extra special - Iris (reception supervisor) did all she could to welcome us, including an upgraded room...

We love, love, love the Kimpton chain of hotels, and had been dying to stay here. Finally got a great deal over the President's Holiday weekend, go figure.. Drove up to SF from Santa Cruz, short 1.5 hour drive and there we were. Breakfast and Irish Coffee at the Buena Vista, located right behind the hotel. Room was really big,...

This is a great hotel in a great location! It's right on the waterfront and looks out to Alcatraz Island. It's at the base of a hill with street cars. Very cool! Perfect for family and sightseeing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in San Francisco. The internet is free...
