When I checked in I was so tired and just ready for bed Liz took excellent care of my crew and. She was so friendly, she went above and beyond to make sure we were all checked in with such urgency while still having a pleasant conversation. In my line of work moving with a purpose while being pleasant makes...

Stayed at Club Quarters for one night on 1st September. Very friendly staff, nice restaurant adjoining and only a short work to the Chinese quarter and the piers. Would definitely stay again. The M&Ms in the coffee lounge particularly good!

Hotel enjoys a good location, with easy excess to main highways. Walking distance to main tourist spots. Lobby provides free coffee and tea. Bed is a bit small and bed quilt is too slippery and it is easy to fall off the bed.

Felt safe during my solo weekend in the financial district even at nighttime. A short 10min walk away from the piers where you can get a great view of the bay bridge as well as some great seafood. Staff was friendly, and they let me check in FOUR hours early!! They also held my bags on Sunday after check out.

This property was very suitable for our need. It was located close to the BART as well as to Union Square. I would say that it is located in the Financial District. The majority of stores/restaurants close and there is not a night life around. You will have to travel outside of the area.

HI A J. Thanks for yoiur your review of our hotel. Yes, we are in a good location for exploring SF. There is not, like you said, a night life scene around our building. You need to travel a short distance to get to that kind of area. Which makes our location a great place to relax. Thank you for...

Financial district has easiest access to mass transit. Great base for SF visit. Walk to Ferry Bldg. Or Modern Art Museum. Or China Town. Or the warfs. Several of SF finest restaurants are literally just two blocks away.

Hotel Key cards are sub-par. They don't work in the elevator. Guests take turns using their key cards to find one that works. Main point of discussion in the elevators. The key cards mostly, but not consistently work in the room doors.

The hotel location is good, about 15-20minute walk away from Union Square. Hotel room size is neither big nor small, with a comfortable bed, clean beddings, and the room furniture are good and functional, except that I didn't see a clothes iron which I believe is a must for a business hotel. I am giving this hotel 4 stars for...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip to San Francisco. We loved the location- relatively quiet for a weekend trip, but still close to tourist attractions, public transit, and some great restaurants. However, the hotel itself was only ok. the rooms were very small, with an uncomfortable split King (aka two twin mattresses pushed together)...

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
