Wanted a refuge and adventure close to home. Found the Inn to be a private oasis and the room was so lovely with fireplace & soaking tub & views of the water. Hiking trail right outside and water view.

Inn at the Presidio is an excellent place to stay when visiting San Francisco, and especially the Presidio area. It is a top-notch property with clean, comfortable rooms and a very nice breakfast and evening wine/appetizers included in the price. Parking is right next to the hotel and at a reasonable rate. The staff is always very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Had a wonderful time at the Inn! With Frank the Concierge at the front desk, checking in was as easy as could be - professional yet friendly. I was even able to get into my room early! My beautiful room was clean, fresh-smelling and larger than I expected. The king-sized bed was heavenly. After a rainy night, I woke up to the sound of early morning frogs and chirping birds. Though I felt so far away from the City, everything was close by - hiking trails, museums, fabulous restaurants, the beach. I definitely will return to the Inn at the Presidio, my new favorite home away from home!

My husband and I love to stay at the Inn. We get to go on long walks to the beach and the cemetery, eat in fabulous restaurants, and just enjoy the views from our room. It is a unique adventure into history.

The Inn at the Presidio is a beautiful spot, and ideally located. It is in the city, but seems like a private retreat once you enter the park. The inn is beautifully restored, with photos and memorabilia from its Army days. The staff is exceptional, from front desk to housekeeping.
