We stayed in the Venetian room: Quiet setting, imaginative decorations, and a large, comfy bed. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty: Quiche, fresh pastries, cereals, lots of fresh and dried fruit. The wine temple and beautifully landscaped back yard are a plus. But what makes Noe's Nest extra special is the owner, Sheila. She is thoroughly knowledgeable about San Francisco... More

First of all, it is located in the best neighborhood. It is very close to all attractions like Dolores park, Mission district, Castro and Noe's valley. The rooms are so clean that you can't even meet their standards at a 5-star hotel. You can meet interesting people at breakfast, no need to mention the owner, Sheila, who is the most... More

I hate to give a one star review, but Noe's Nest is haunted. I just hope others don't experience the same unexplainable events. There's paranormal activity in there. I had never experienced such a thing ever in my life. I pretty much could not sleep...I felt a presence and actually experienced a bad vibe in the room where I was staying.... More

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in the front door where we were greeted by Sheila, owner of Noe's Nest. We were given a tour of the inn and property which included an incredible garden-like back yard complete with a water fountain and wine temple, where we enjoyed several glasses of wine during our stay. Our beautiful... More

Wonderful comfortable oasis in the city. The wine temple is beautiful and perfect for entertaining. To much wonderful food to choose from at breakfast. Thanks to Shelia and Ellen, you made my short stay the best.

This was short and sweet, but you really made my day, Michelle! I'm so glad that you enjoyed yourself and got to enjoy with wine and breakfast respectively. Seeing your happy faces is the reason why we got started here in the first place, so I hope that we get to see more of yours! Yours, Cindy, General Manager More

Noe's Nest is the quintessential San Francisco Bed and Breakfast from the charming house & garden to the proprietor herself, with colorful stories/history and hospitality that goes above & beyond! My mother and I were in the city to help my son with his move, and unfortunately had a series of mishaps while we were there. Sheila, Ellen, and Cindy... More

I normally prefer to stay at comfy hotels during my Business visits. This was my first time in a B&B and I am happy that I made this choice. This place has the comfort and facilities of a high end hotel with the splendid charm of Victorian home. Cindy welcomed and took me around the place and showed me each... More

We stayed at Noes Nest in Noe Valley San Francisco for several days . Sheila , the Proprietor and her staff treat everyone like they were family. You feel at home immediately! I am not big on b & b's. My wife booked this based on our daughter living only 3 blocks away. Noe's Nest B & B is a trip back in time! You are greeted by the owner Ms Shelia Ashe I believe her name to be. She marches to her own band (60's). She is as intriguing as eclectic!... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
