Sure, this place is slightly tired - especially the beds and the furnishings - but heck, this is San Francisco near Union Sq and finding a hotel this well situated and at a decent price is a rarity, especially given the free add-ons like hot breakfast and manager's free happy hour. The views from the dining room are terrific and...

Stayed here for a conference and it was a delightful hotel with plenty character. My room was well appointed and I had a nice view. The buffet breakfast was very nice with many choices. The hotel was within walking distance to loads of restaurants and shopping. They did not have on site parking but visitors are directed to a closeby...

I stayed at the Marines Memorial Club while I was attending a conference. Loved the Marine decor throughout the hotel I arrived early and the room was ready. The room had a nice vintage touch. Wi-Fi and ethernet cord in room for internet. Great view of San Francisco. The full breakfast buffet was amazing! Great location to Union Square. Added...

Stayed at the Marines' Memorial Hotel and attended a conference here at the same time. Room was nice and spacious. Odd window in the shower though that threw me off a little, good thing I'm short! Conference area floors were nice with lovely decor. Continental breakfast was amazing with every option you could want! I would stay here again.

We have been staying at the MMC for about 25 years. It is our San Francisco home. We notice that many of the clients are seniors, but then, so are we, now. The staff meets all your needs politely and the full breakfast and free-drink happy hours are great! Good service and value. Yes, the rooms are small, but it...

A great place to stay. Close to Union Square in the heart of SF. You have to be former or active military to stay here, but if you are, it is definitely worth staying here. The rooms are really nice and the morning breakfast, which is included in the price, was huge. We had a great stay.

Great locatiion, pleasant staff and pretty good breakfast in a nice dining area. Place has a nice feel, but serves an older clientel than most SF hotels. For the price the room was a nice size by SF standards. However, it could use some updating/new furniture etc as it was a bit worn. Our bedding was torn and they replaced...

Excellent location! Helpful polite, personnel. For the breakfast you usually need to wait in order to get the free table. Breakfast little bit over average. Happy hour with free drinks between 16-18, great ! Bathroom was quite small but with the view over SF. Free WiFi. I would stay again. As name says there are also also young and old...

My wife & I recently stayed in the "Marines' Memorial Club" in SFO... which was nothing short of 'excellent'. We'd stayed at a resort in Mexico (that wasn't to our liking) over the past week, so were looking-forward to our stay @ "MMC"... which I'd not been inside for 30+ years. We arrived late-evening @ SFO, so were already tired...
