Our room was clean and very nice, the breakfast buffet was honestly incredible, and the location was phenomenal. Parking was more expensive than we expected - but what else would you expect in San Francisco? And it was worth the extra to have a secure spot in the garage next

Love that it pays tribute to the Marines. Displays are beautiful in the hotel lobby and each floor. Closet could have held a twin size bet easily ... never seen a closet that big in a hotel. Breakfast was good ... fresh fruit, hot full service and bakery selection. Coffee was

Had a good time. Friendly staff at the hotel and dog friendly. Would stay at again. Happy hours with free drinks for members like us and Otis and Val. Clean and great breakfast, library, and museum. We went weekends so unfortunately we did not get to see the bulldogs.

Rene you two will really enjoy your stay here. Right of Powell where the street cars run. Little French Restraunt next door is so so. The club has one of the best restaurants in town on the top floor. You are in walking distance from many places. Lyft or Urber are everywhere. I would skip the car. You should take warm clothes. You just don’t know. There are many tours to a host of choices you can enjoy as well. If you don’t have fun it’s your fault!!

It is not impossible, but much depends on how heavy your luggage is that you will be wheeling around as well as your arm strength. It certainly wouldn't be my choice and our family walked a LOT while in the city, albeit unencumbered. Uber is a good option.
