I'm super impressed with this hotel. We came for a cruise out of Long Beach and needed to stay the night but were looking for somewhere to park too outside of port. My friend came down in December for a cruise and stayed here and parked with the "snooze and cruise" package. Great name by the way! The front desk staff was kind, welcoming, and super helpful. Our room is clean, modern, and comfortable. My kids love the room and I can't wait to shower in the large walk in shower! Overall amazing rooms, courteous, helpful staff, and convenient parking for our cruise! Oh, and they shuttle you free to the port! Highly recommend!
I've stayed at the Four Seasons SF multiple times (December 2019, January/Feb 2020) and felt I could finally write a review. The rooms are nice. They aren't particularly charming or spectacular, but clean, spacious, modern- and the bathrooms are nice as well. Beds are SUPER comfortable. The location is right on Market St, so not the most charming, cutest or "cultural" area of the city, but close to a lot of the action. Front desk and valet service is very good, but I've had very much hit or miss service at their restaurant and bar, MKT. One time at MKT, we were sitting in the bar area wanting to get drinks at around 9pm on a Saturday. It took 20 minutes for someone to even get us menus, and then it took a while for someone to come back and take our order. I finally just got up and decided to order at the bar. It was quite strange because the time before I was getting drinks in the bar area and the service was really top notch. But it was so ridiculous how long we had to wave, and it was hard to wave people over as well. It was quite disappointing service. I also had a meh experience at MKT for breakfast. We had to wait extremely long (30 min at least) for a table and the hostess seemed quite confused and overwhelmed. She didn't seem to have a good way of keeping track of the groups waiting to be seated and people who came in after us (without reservations and the same size) got seated before us. We had to go back up to remind her that we were still waiting and she apologized because she forgot we were there. It was a bit of a bummer because we wanted to get our day started but really couldn't. The food was also quite mediocre especially for the pretty exorbitant prices. We decided that we wouldn't be getting breakfast from MKT again unless we had some sort of credit. Overall it's a good option if you want to be on Market Street and like a clean and more modern vibe. The restaurant is hit or miss and pretty overpriced.…
We were in San Francisco last week and spent 4 nights in at the Four Seasons. From the time of our arrival the staff was very professional and welcoming. Housekeeping was exceptional and anticipated our every need. We did not go to the dining room because of the evolving situation but we did spend a little time at the bar where we shared a delicious burger and extraordinary carrot cake. Whenever we approached valet they quickly called transportation and were extremely helpful. Even though the hotel has gone to digital newspapers, they honored my request for a paper. All in all great experience.
treated very badly at brekfast.Have been told that because we have not made reservations,no seats were available while free seating was available at the bar counter.Never asked to make a resevation for breakfast in other Four Seasons,no advise that I should have made a reservation.
Definitely recommend this hotel - the location is very convenient on Market Street and anything you might need is likely within walking distance. Rooms are wonderful and the staff is just terrific, as with any Four Seasons property.
