We spent last weekend at the Omni SF to check out a local school for our daughter. The hotel looks amazing and it's facilities are well kept. The hotel staff is engaging and friendly. Location is close to financial district and Ferry Building. We will be back.

Arrived late afternoon. Doorman very friendly and helpful with luggage. Check-in was quick and efficient. Deluxe room had two double beds, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was ok size. Overall room size was 385sqf. We were on forth floor but had no issues with street noise. Valet parking was somewhat steep at $60 (in/out privilege). Free WIFI as Select Guest...

The staff were very nice and accommodating! Our flight had been cancelled and so we needed a last minute place to stay. I called and reserved the room at 8 am that morning. When we arrived they went ahead and allowed us to check-in and found a room for us. Valet was quick and the bellhop did a great job...

Stayed at the Omni Hotel in San Francisco for 6 nights. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. A mistake was made with our morning beverage service, but once informed, this was put right with a written apology and they recognised my husband's birthday with chocolate cake and complimentary wine - a nice touch. Daryl, one of the...

Spend two nights here on a business trip. Hotel is located conveniently next to our office. The hotel itself is a typical traditional/old-school luxury hotel. Large lobby, decent rooms. However, for me too much 'American Baroque Style' - fluffy carpet, rooms in light brown/beige/dark brown wood... all in all pretty much reminds me of 80's or 90's style. Just like...

Great experience! Excellent banquet facities, I was there for my nieces wedding and reception. Excellent food and service. I forgot my laptop, and received a call before I could get out of town, so I could go back and pick it up!

Very nice place to visit. Everyone of the staff I met were nice and helpful. They don't spritz fragrance in the air (though there is a bit in the cleaning products). It didn't give me a headache-yay! Bed was comfy, room was a good size. The room faced the back side street, so not much traffic noise, though there was...

Deciding on a Hotel in San Francisco can seem like a challenge- I am thankful for the deal I got on staying here= being on the edge of the Financial District and away from the herds of tourists at Union Square worked really well for me. The room on the 17th floor was very clean, very comfortable and after a...

The bed is comfy and the shower powerful, the rooms clean and the service efficient and friendly in that uniquely American way which is enough to earn 3 stars. But the concierge couldn't tell me where to get breakfast at 0600. on Checkin the receptionist was answering questions I hadn't asked more like a robot with a pre-recorded script which...

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
