Stayed 3 nights here and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, clean rooms, great location. Bus stops, cable car and subway stops very near to the hotel. Would definitely recommend!
The place is well located but very noisy due to old windows. Also the room is small, the bathroom is old.
The reception doesn't really care about customer needs. I called after 10pm the room service in order to pick up laundy and they told...More
I stayed here for 5 nights while attending a conference nearby. Pros: convenient location, close to public transportation/restaurants/ shopping, helpful and friendly staff, unique and historic property. Cons: on a busy street, lots of noise (traffic, fire trucks, loud pedestrians) at night, I could hear...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
