Our room was small but very comfortable, the bed was very clean & comfy. The location is good for the the cable car, but very scary in the evening with all the homeless sleeping all over the pavement. The staff we all very friendly & helpful The parking in the basement was very useful & convenient. The corridor floor needed hoovering, it always looked dirty. The glass surface protector on the desk was loose & very dangerous. Very small bathroom (room 724) we kept banging our head on the towel shelf every time we went to the loo. The parking was over priced (45$) per night.
The Pickwick is always a great place to stay when visiting the City for work. It's near the BART station, next to a mall with a great food court and near my business destinations. The staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable.
Price wise is ok & good for afew nights stay but seems they are stingy on shampoos & soap ! Lol Location is superb , concierge & front desk ladies need a hospitality refresher course ... wear a smile !
The hotel is nice and location wise too, however the hotel charges you for parking, we paid around 60 dollars for one night, and the rooms need more cleaning, the tub was dirty, the sink was leaking and it smell like humidity
They just kinda blew us off when we told them we had left our car keys in the room. Didn’t offer to check for us, didn’t offer to mail them if they found them. Parking is $45 a night, which they didn’t explain upon checking in so that was a nice surprise. Parking garage is disgusting and seedy. Overall it’s a decent hotel room just some quirks and customer service issues we weren’t happy about.
