Having read mixed reviews of the hostel on trip advisor, we were a bit nervous but went in with an open mind. However all the negative things you read on here are 100% true, and as others have mentioned there are signs in the hostel offering the chance to win a free stay if you give a positive review. On...

On the more basic and scruffy end of the hostel market, but with everything you will need for a good stay (decent wifi, places to relax other than your room, luggage storage etc.). Hostel doesn't seem as secure as you would hope considering the area that it is in, but I had no problems and felt fairly confident leaving valuables...

When we arrived at this hostel the lady on the front desk was quite rude and we felt very unwelcomed, there was no information given about the hostel or even where our room was .. The level we were staying on both toilets and showers were out of order which was very annoying. The rooms smelt moldy and damp and...

I forgot what it is called, the exact room that my friend and I were living in. But we tried the room with 4 beds, without toilet for our first night of stay, and the room with 4 beds, yet with toilet for the rest of the 3 nights. The first room (4 beds without toilet) was terrible. The room...

Located In an old building, it's difficult to expect much from this place. Our room was a bit dirty, which was probably helped by the fact there was no locker inside - just some small ones in a common area - and previous guests forgot to clean after their stuff. The bathrooms were OK, with a sufficient number of them....

People have such ridiculous standards when it comes to hostels. You get what you pay for! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the location was brilliant, there was an elevator!! The room was a little cramped for 4 people and all our things and there was no air con so the room was really hot most...

Same thing I said about Amsterdam hostel: If you can get a bed for less than 40-35 bucks, you made a good deal, otherwise you are overpaying. Good things: Big common areas, water dispenser, decent wifi (not everywhere though) and location. Bad things: Mattresses, too few working toilets and showers..they are just not enough and usually they are trashed. People...

I travelled coast to coast through America camping and in hostels. This hostel was by far the worst for cleanliness. I'd suggest to bring a sleeping bag if you wanna stay here. It is however in a good location and ideal if you just wanna crash somewhere. Be warned they offer the chance to win a free stay if you...

For the price you pay, I guess it is ok. But the service when we arrived was quite crappy. First of all they told us we have to pay a guarantee fee ($10, not too much) but it had to be in cash. It did not say anything about this when we booked. We did not have cash on us,...

We found this hostel clean and safe. Wouldn't want to stay for longer than 3 nights as the beds were not that comfortable. The bathrooms are on every second floor which is a bit of a pain but I fins that when i'm backpacking these things don't matter as much. Staff were friendly and helpful. If staying in a shared...
