Great location in a national park - walking distance to family friendly beach, restaurants, trails, lawn in front. Continental breakfast in the morning. Cheese, crackers and wine in evening. Our new favorite SF hotel.

Although the price was steep for me, I was looking for something out of the ordinary and was not disappointed. Location is excellent, staff was super helpful, grounds and rooms were immaculate, breakfast and wine and cheese at night were included (well, a part of the price but still you don't really see that anywhere). I will definitely visit again.

This is an experience into history and surrounding beauty that is like nothing else. The charming old former military officer's quarters building is so quaint and comfy like a bed and breakfast and yet all of the special touches of a boutique hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly helpful and courteous. They made our stay the best that it could be. I used to live in the Presidio so this was a treat to come up back up from SoCal for a stay here. Pros: * natural hikes and walking paths abound with unique views of the Golden Gate Bridge (walkable from the hotel !) out of your windows- fresh ocean air mists outside while the red brick and fires places remind you of places of an old world. * inside Presidio : Stunning hiking and casual walking trails all over abound accessible right from the hotel. There is the Disney museum right next door and even a quaint bowling alley ! Close by: the Palace of the fine arts, Marina Bars restaurants, beach walks, the best bar in SF - the Final Final Bar. Also, Sausalito is a 10 min hop across the bridge. * complimentary continental breakfast served right to your room. * spacious room and amenities - you think that you're in some countryside in England with unique towering trees, chirping birds, and ocean breezes. ** COVID this gem of a hotel is open & perhaps the best time to come is now - off season low key ! Cons: none :)

This is a beautiful brand new hotel. The decor is tasteful and functional. The location is ideal for exploring and taking advantage of the presidio--it's a national park. Great area for walking, running and viewing the Golden Gate Bridge. Great access on and off the 101.

My sister was turning 30yrs and we wanted to do something special. We looked all over SF and based on their COVID preventions, the beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a great deal of outdoor trails & beach we could not resist. At check in we were informed that they offer a breakfast and a wine and cheese option. Which was a BONUS! The rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and well kept. The staff sent sparkling wine, chocolates and a card from the hotel for my sisters birthday!!!!! My sister was beyond happy!!!! The hotel also offers extra things as they cannot be kept in the room, but we only had 2 robes brought up. Later the staff also recommended a nice restaurant called Presidio Kebab nearby that had outside seating and heaters which was AMAZING! Overall, I felt safe because of the protocols being used to protect the guest as well as their staff. My sister and I felt comfortable and where able to enjoy her birthday and the little getaway during this pandemic.
