As 3 friends on a budget, the travelodge seemed like a wonderful place to stay. We booked it through hotels.com and the pictures made it appear clean, tidy, safe, and close to the city centre. We arrived at 11pm to find the...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
We are staying at Travelodge San Fran central in August. On our last day in San Fran, we are visiting Alcatraz and then picking up a car before travelling down the coast. We were hoping to be able to store our bags at the hotel before picking up the car (2pm). Is this something you can accommodate?
