My only word is that this behaviour is complately unprofessional and they do not care about potential guests too.
Much disappointed.
Normally I would take these concerns to the front desk for help, but the service at checkin was so poor that I didn't feel it was worth the time.
We arrived early to see if we could checkin early and were told 3pm, fair as normally you need to clean rooms between checkins. We could see the cleaning cart on the second floor and that made sense. Came back at 2:30 to see if we could checkin (the cart was on the lower floor and one door from being done) and was told no 3pm. they said it was for cleaning (even though they had already done the room we would be assigned) and offered they might be able to allow us at 2:45...
Place was Ok, but they use too much Pinesol, which might be covering an insect poison substance. All of our clothes smelled of this mix. When we asked to skip the maid cleaning (to avoid more of this Pinesol roach killer), they did it anyway.
Ricky, hotel manager, was one of the most helpful, kindest hotel personnel staff I have ever encountered. His desire to make our stay PERFECT will make me use this hotel every time I travel to San Francisco.
Hope to return this summer for a Giants game---AT&T Park is a 7 minute walk.
If you're looking for something fancy, look elsewhere, but we were perfectly satisfied here.
