The neighborhood is safe and the parking garage is safe. The parking is good and available. Some staff members were kind and some were nice enough. The room is okay and well furnished. Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

This place, along with its sister facilities, was recommended to us by friends. We picked Chelsea and are glad we did. Parking is available, the staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms are up to date, clean, spacious and comfortable. If rooms near us were occupied, we couldn't tell as it was quiet all night and in the morning.... More

After staying in SF many times in 2015 at a B&B during the high season, I ran across this place at an exremely reasonable rate in January. Turns out that winter is the time to go if you are on a budget. This place meets the budget test: has free parking (!)--a great benefit in SF; good, safe location with... More

We had rooms overlooking the corner of Lombard & Fillmore Sts. We were treated to the noise from 2 nightclubs on our first night & on subsequent nights there was constant traffic noise. We had 2 rooms & the TV sound in one room kept cutting out so we couldn't even drown out the outside noise. No breakfast available &... More

I have very little negative feedback for this place. The location is great, hardly any noise, friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, comfy beds and more. It just lacks a few small things such as staff to assist with luggage, an ATM, water, mini fridge etc but def not deal breakers. Our entire stay was pleasant and Allan at the... More

I booked through Expedia after thorough research of area and reading tons of reviews, but was still very afraid. How could the price be so low compared to the big chain hotels?? I was very pleasantly surprised. The same people own Cow Hollow ( just across the street) and a few others. I would contact the hotel directly for the... More

The room was not bad. There is no fridge and the coffee percolator is in the bathroom which I found quite off putting. To be making coffee in the same room you poop. The club and traffic noise is horrendous, so expect to get broken sleep. I guess the good it has going for it is its close to some... More

My husband's co-worker recommended this hotel due to its convenient location and inexpensive cost in such an expensive city. We had a room facing the alley because according to the front desk staff, it would be quieter than a room along Lombard Street. They did warn us that there might be some noise in the alley as bar-goers headed home... More

The rooms are clean, relatively inexpensive, within walking distance to many great restaurants & bagel/coffee shops. Hop on off bus stop is right on the corner. Get the 3rd floor rooms for a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the 101, 201, 301 rooms for larger rooms.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
