I just spent two glorious nights at this beautiful hotel, from April 15-17. I stayed in a suite, and loved it. The views were great and the extra space was welcome.
The bed was comfortable and the bedroom beautifully decorated. The afternoon I arrived, I...More
I stayed at the Palace Hotel for the last two nights of my four night trip to San Francisco. The Financial District location is excellent, with the Montgomery Street BART/Muni station right on the corner.

Incredible Hotel with absolutely the best customer service. We were welcomed at the front desk by Jenny Lee who exceeded all expectations at greeting us and providing us options on upgrading our room. This was our 15 th wedding anniversary; she was unbelievably professional, cordial,...More

This is a beautiful old historic building. The lobby and glass dome area are great. Room we had was tiny with tiny bathroom. Perhaps we should have upgraded. Bed was okay but heated toilet seats are not for us.
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
