I had a perfectly ok time at the hotel until the last night when I realised the hotel staff had gone through my bag and stolen an expensive pair of headphones from my bag. The receptionist insisted i look again for the headphones for a third time, then a fouth, then a fifth. She

Ok, so you picked a hotel that was cheap and cheerful. But I bet you didn’t think you’d be awake all hours of the night. This place is terrible. The walls are stick thin. I could hear an entire conversation with the people to my left and right. Sure the staff are wonderful, but

This place is in an old building right in the heart of the city so it is loud. I can sleep through anything but if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room off the street. The place is clean and the staff is amazing! Ronnie and the guys at the front are so helpful and friendly

Arriving in front of the Touchstone started with an ordeal- two valet signes invited to stop in between and dispayed that for 38 bucks your car will be taken care of, but there was hardly time to unload the luggage. The receptionist came rushing out and told us to move the car

Yes definitely ditch the car. A friend of mine got her car towed and San Fran has the highest fine in the US i was shocked! She had to pay $550 (yes $550!) to get her car out, they don't even offer a payment plan-nothing. No mercy. The signage too was placed lower on the post (knee length, so when passenger opened the car door, the door blocked the sign so thats how she missed it. Anyways, no car is necessary, BART is highly efficient. Use LYFT/Uber if needed. For me I signed up for Lyft right before my trip (watch out for deals) and got $50 credit split into 10 rides which was VERY useful. If you need a car for long distance travel to the woods or yosemite or anythin, just rent if for those planned days. Its quite affordable at $40+ a day. Have fun!!

You need to call the hotel and find out if pets are permitted before you book
