Neighborhood
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.

The Inn is very old, but very-well maintained. The rooms are unique, as is the breakfast spread. Very comfortable, anything you need, great location, highly recommended! Will be staying again. The Inn was built in the 1870s? I believe? Room 24 was great - had a nice bathtub,

From your first steps into the Inn, you feel welcome and immersed in the beautiful Victorian decor. There are friendly greetings and many hospitable touches, like scattered bowls of candy and fruit, fresh flowers, and carafes of sherry. We have stayed in several of the rooms,

As CMC Baltimore explains, it is several city blocks. Just walk along 24th Street away from the hill, and at South Van Ness turn left and we are on the opposite side of the street between 21st and 20th. The Bart station is '24th Street' and it takes approximately 25 minutes from SFO to this station. I thank all these wonderful people who answered before I did. Fred Manager InnSF

Do you know why one person said the breakfast was just donuts?
Hi, this is the General Manager of the Inn San Francisco. As is mentioned in an earlier response, this review was NOT about the Inn San Francisco. We are located in the heart of the Mission District, not in the Marina and we serve a wonderful breakfast, please review our photos of breakfast on our website and check out other reviews for the InnSF. Sorry for the confusion but we have no control over mistaken reviews posted.

Do you have safe secure parking? How much does it cost per day?
We didn't have a car. I do believe there is a parking lot they use. Give them a call...super nice people.

No room safes. But we had some things we wanted secured so the front desk handled it for us. We put those things into a sealed envelope and they stored it in their safe. No problems whatsoever. They're a trustworthy wonderful staff from my perspective! Our friends stayed in the Garden Cottage and loved the space etc. ENJOY!!!
