IF I only remembered one thing about Hotel Griffon, it would be the friendliest welcome from Ann at the front desk. She greeted me each day with a “Good Morning” and “Is there anything I can do for you?” Her professionalism was definitely 5 🌟‘s

Good location, good service. Parking was the only problem. Rooms were very clean. The restaurant 'next door' was more like a part of the hotel . It was very convenient and meal was good. I can't think of anything I would change, except of course parking, which is a nightmare in all of SF.

Planned a trip to SF for my Birthday. We stayed at Hotel Griffon, in a Suite overlooking the Bay Bridge. Our friends booked a standard room through Booking.com and got upgraded to a suite, but facing towards the City. Totally walkable to Giants Games which we walked back to the hotel from, along the water front. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here in the future!

I just finished up my stay this week at the Hotel Griffon, and loved it! A historical building right across the street from the waterfront with good prices especially this time of year. My room was beautiful and spacious, had all the amenities I needed. Large bath tub was great! Fantastic location with so many tasty restaurants even on the same block. I recommend Ozumo! The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, and the front desk individuals were always nice. Loved the patio looking up at the high rise buildings, it made a great place to sit with friends and have cocktails. I would definitely recommend staying here, and plan on staying here again myself! One draw back was the parking. If you have a car, there are parking options in the neighborhood. I found a reasonable spot a few blocks away at 25 Folsom St.
