I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Kabuki for a business meeting for several days. The property is simply beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and roomy. Meeting areas are simply divine with the trees and art. What set the place apart is how awesome the staff was. Any question or need I had was promptly addressed and they went...

I stayed in a corner room with a king bed and it had a fantastic view of the city, and even the bay in the distance. The room was clean and well kept, with a very nice shower and bathing area (much better than the average hotel). Service was excellent, including the convenient parking right under the building. Overall an...

Loved the soaking tub and the packet of bath salts! Enjoyed having a balcony. Street was a bit noisy, but not too bad. Staff was very helpful in securing rides I needed to Marin. All in all, a good experience.

Nice hotel with retro feel to it. Albeit a bit dated, rooms with Japanese-inspired touches were nice, spacious, and clean (stayed in Club King Room). Excellent service and the hotel’s wonderful staff promptly resolved any issues during my 10 night stay. Hotel restaurant is unremarkable but plenty of excellent Japantown/Fillmore Street dining options available within 5-10 minute walking radius. Buses...

I stayed for a business trip. The hotel is about 1.5 miles from the financial district. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The room furnishing were a bit worn and starting to show their age. The lobby is well-appointed and the property has a traditional Japanese garden. The lounge in the hotel is a good venue to hold a business...

I travel a good bit and had stayed at this hotel years ago. The rooms are tired (my room smelled like "old" to the point I had to request some spray to kill the musty smell) and require a serious updating. The elevators are dirty-( need vacuuming daily-guys) the wood veneer on the walls are peeling and the hallway carpets...

Every year around New Year's for the past decade at least, we have spent a couple nights at the Kabuki Hotel (or the Miyako before the ownership change) in San Francisco's Japan town. It makes a great place to stay away from the noise and crowds of Union Square (or, heaven forbid, the Wharf). It's clean lines and Japanese sensibility...

Check-in was prompt and efficient. While room was a little on the small side, it was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a short visit. Freddy, the doorman, was friendly and helpful. Wish there had been a pool. We wanted to try the restaurant, but it seemed like it was always closed.
