This house, the most famous of "Painted Ladies" home is a wood workers museum. It is spectacular in a very classic 1800 Victorian fashion. The rooms are beautiful. There is wine and cheese served every evening. Breakfast is served at a communal table which makes it an experience in its self. Weekends they serve a 9:00 and 10:00 champagne brunch... More

Our first stop on a 6 day vaca in California. What a GREAT place! We had the Aimee Crocker room which was lovely. Arrived just as the wine and cheese time was ending (6:00 pm) but they kept it open just for us, can you say gracious? Next morning, we needed to leave before the champagne brunch (9 & 10... More

Great location. Our host David went above and beyond with help and suggestions to make our trip great. He mapped out multiple suggestions for each day. Breath taken views and awesome food suggestions. We will definitely stay here again. Clean and safe

This B&B Inn is a fine example of the late nineteenth century architecture. Originally built in 1892 by the Oregon shipping magnate, Daniel B. Jackson. The building has had an interesting history, surviving both the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 and the 60’s. The building has now been lovingly restored and it is furnished with period antiques. Making it a... More

Stayed here for about 3 nights. We took the Lilly Langtry basement suite (which is actually on the level of the road). Nice and cozy with plenty of room for the two of us. What it lacked however, was adequate natural lighting. the smaller bedroom is dark despite their lights, the main bedroom is okay. It did get cold for... More

This was a lovely B&B. I cannot think of a single reason why we wouldn't return. Nick was wonderful and so were the rest of the staff. The location is great and the breakfast was perfect! Our kids loved the whole experience. The downstairs suites are perfect for families. Affordable and worth every cent! So much better than a stuffy... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and although the layout of the rooms we were in down on the srteet level was a but odd (two double rooms sharing one bathroom )as there was 4 of us it worked out ok. The receciption rooms and lounge in the hotel were wonderfully decked out in historic funiture and pieces... More

My husband and I prefer to be in a bed and breakfast versus a traditional hotel. We were very pleased with this bed and breakfast. The house is a historical building and decorated beautifully. The manager, Nicolas is very welcoming and accommodating . The breakfasts are delicious and the room was very comfortable. We highly recommend The Chateau Tivoli and... More

I recently stayed at the Chateau Tivoli for a week back in January. This place exceeded all my expectations, Its such a charming house and we were delighted to find that two blocks away is the houses that they show in the opening of Full House! The staff that greeted us were incredibly helpful and never seemed bothered by all... More
